Yes, I guess that is another answer.
Cheers
But.............as I said, I'm on the dole and the USB options should work, surely. I would really like a no spend solution. Especially when a usb port is sitting there and a usb cable is in my draw.Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

Well... if that's what you want, all you need to do is install the driver for the USB connection separately. Unless I'm very much mistaken, you should find it on the disc in the \fscommand\UTILITY subdirectory.
Alternatively, you can download the latest version from here.0 -

OK,
The driver was in util on disk. Runs fine and installs USB drivers.
However that doesn't stop the "new hardware found..."
This wizard doesn't like the drivers and won't use them.
I did the downloaded version with the same result.
Installing the drivers does nothing. The USB link doesn't work.
The Adding Hardware wizard will not recognise the disk drivers or the downloaded ones.
I ran the BT disk in full and lied about my connection (used my old BT name). It installed everything before failing to connect (of course) but this had the same effect as the other two methods.
I have now used up everyone's advice without any result.
I just hope if I can find the money for a wireless board it has a better result.
Any, any ideas gratefully accepted.
