If someone appears to be selling items on the board it may be deleted by the board guides/forum team. The aim is to protect site users as however honourable the intention, your safety is paramount.

How awful. Why would it be abuse? Prizes are offered on here all the time :(:(.

i understand that but i'm sure someone won post of the month last year for giving away a travelodge room

I just think thats really sad that Foofighters lovely gesture has been ruined. Wouldnt of hurt to let foofighter know before deleting surely. Plus wouldnt somone have had to have reported the thread to abuse in the first place for it to be removed? who would do that?

As I said the only way of resolving it is for Foofighter to ask abuse why they removed it.

It's appauling! ok rules are rules and I can see the point, someone could have signed up just to rip Foo off but it's highly unlikely!

I was only thinking to myself this morning I hope Martin see's this post and his faith can be restored in MSE users after the slating he's had elsewhere for being the Devil In-carnate and being single handedly responsible for the decline of Western Civilisation.
