I'll turn up. If there's going to be a punch-up, I want to be there.
I'd love to be there, and invite Channel 4 & John Snow, at least i'll be able to teach him sloooowly the name of this web site :rotfl:I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another, so please feel free to ignore this.0 -

Is anyone willing to protest outside the Iceland embassy in London about the lack of information and protection for British savers?
Embassy Details as follows:
Embassy of Iceland - London, UK
2A Hans Street, London SW1X 0JE, UK - Tel.: +44-20-7259-3999
Seriously, what good would be achieved?0 -

It was reported the Icelandic government wanted their companies to repatriate their overseas assets. So Iceland (owned by Baugur) could soon be up for sale. Then we can have lots of new Iceland threads on the site...mulldoonuk wrote: »0 -
I can't sleep and am reading through these threads to help me forget that I've just lost £16,000. Should I convince myself that I really didn't put my money in Icesave but lost it on a bet on the Gee Gees, if only...must make an appointment with my hypnotist. No its not funny at all, am on my eighth whisky now, have not been into work today will not be in in morning at this rate either. Perhaps we can send the Bailiffs in to all Icelandic assets owned by Landsbanki in the UK their retail outlets, or whatever it is that they have here....now theres a possible solution. Martin, can you have a look at this one and get back to us please....I'm SERIOUS.:rolleyes:0

Might make more sense to protest outside the USA one. Its their miss sold loan scams that we are now paying the price for.0
