actually, the post that was linked to by sadabbott was made at 9.02am today (tuesday), with a link to his site warning of the dangers of iceland. It would seem he made his post minutes after withdrawals had been frozen, but I would say it was fair to be a "troll" and indeed was rational to advise others to pull out of a bank, when everybody else is. (Last night, when it became clear that everyone else was withdrawing, it was worth trying my luck and joining in - I had nothing to lose but 4/5 months interest as I try to reclaim my money)

Forget protesting outside their embassy. If the Icelandic government defaults on its obligations to UK savers then we should seriously think about repossessing their country.

What a pile of crap. I had no idea what this was all about until I clicked through the links to see why you were being slagged off. I thought it was some private feud. Now I understand. You refer people to an article written by you with a comprehnsive and pessimistic analysis of the situation in Iceland and then post on here pretending you've got your life-savings tied up in Icesave?
