Mass hysteria realy will do nothing to help the situation.

Time for reflection for sure but silly actions such as this would have a very negative effect

Given that their whole country is going to the wall I doubt they're too concerned about what happens abroad. They're likely to be concentrating on processing fish as fast as possible to keep the Russian loansharks from the door.
