Kaupthing - my transfer out isn't happening - am I doing something wrong?

    All deposits at KE in the UK have been transferred today to ING Direct

    If a transfer was in progress when this happened this may cause a problem for you.

    I contacted KE to check that my transfer was going ahead despite not showing on screen and was assured that if I have the printed confirmation then the instruction has been received and will be actioned. The CS rep did say that KE had heard rumours about being taken over by ING Direct but assured me that this was not true and that KE were in the process of preparing a press release denying it. Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
    It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.
