Whilst I understand but do not agree with some here who would blame Martin for investing for their investments into Icelandic banks (based upon the number who will not do their own research as he states they should), it was pretty ridiculous of Channel 4 to set up such a one-sided attack disguised as an interview. Jon Snow seemed so passionate and personal with the attack yet didn''t even know the website address - I have to say that I just couldn't do what Martin does because I would probably have given him a massive ***** slap instead of maintaining his composure even faced with such nonsense.

No-one wanted this and to make one man a scapegoat for the actual intentional actions and greed of a number of risk-takers who couldn't care less if their bonuses come at the expense of families losing their jobs and homes is simply a disgrace. Shame on Channel 4 - for anyone who is directly affected with their funds being frozen or potentially lost, I truly hope it works out for every one of you and that no-one ever need be put in this position ever again.

this information has been on martins website for quite sometime now for everybody to read, i personally transfered £15000 to ke on wednesday 8/10 to increase my investment to the protected £50000 limit, as you all know ke has now transfered to ing direct and the information above clearly states ing are useing the passport scheme so when the dust settles so to speak i wiil withdraw my 50k and close this account. this is my decision and not martins but i certainly appreciate him emailing me the information above to help me make my decision. thanks martin keep up the good work
    regards
