BOO HOOO WE DONT HAVE AN ALDI OVER HERE IN NORTHERN IRELAND :-[

I WISH SOME KIND PEOPLE WHO DO COULD HELP OUT ::) ;DTHESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS ……
..…JUST WAIT AND SEE0 -
Benji, I take on board everything you have said and I fully understand your point. I also understand that we all have our own thoughts and ideas and I don't want you to feel I am harshly overiding yours. :-/
The thing is though, you don't seem to only be concerned about being out of pocket yourself. If that was purely the case, we would entirely understand. You have posted on the Argos thread trying to rally everyone into agreeing with your suggestion of turning our offers of help into a more business like arrangement whereby people are charged costs as the norm.
If you are simply worried about other people's pickups having a detrimental effect on your budget, I wonder why you are so keen to have us all charging costs?
You also offered to pick up for me at one point, and although I declined the offer, I was grateful to you for having made it ( I realise you did not have to do so - so thank you again). But you were charging £5 for doing so 'unless the other reserved item was something you wanted'. So in seconds you have gone from being unable to afford to help......to helping for free, if you get something else out of it (which incidentally is costing you more money).
You may well be genuine and are actually concerned about your finances, and if this is the case then I wholeheartedly apologise for thinking anything might be a little untoward. Personally I just feel you are sending mixed messages and I hope you can understand why?Herman - MP for all!0 -
HI Dfarry,
Just thought I would mention, you are actually supposed to touch the surface of the tablet with the pen - its pressure sensitive, and the harder you press, the deeper/thicker/broader your stoke gets... Depending on the program you are using it in, and the function you are using at that particular time. YOU odn't have to go mad and force it down on the pad, and the pressure is adjustable through the software included.
Also, if there are dust marks under the cover of the pad, lift it up, and give it wipe out. The pad is designed to be opened so that you can put things underneath to trace... I turned the paper over that is put in by Medion with their name all over it, so I now just have a white sheet.
HTH
ZedAll of this might just be an elaborate simulation running inside a little device, sitting on someone's table.0 -
Zed.. I have just realised that you can lift the cover off... when reading a reviwe about the pad!!... definate case of RTFM!!! ;D ::)
Gonna try it out again tonight (when I get home)
I'm not so concerned about the tablet itself... I think the kids would ruin the pen though which doesn't seem particularly strong....
If it it did get damaged is it easy to get replacements do you think?
Cheers0 -

There should be 2 spare 'nibs' in a small plastic bag.0 -
Ah so not only does it help to RTFM.... but it also pays to CIATBB!!!! (Check in all the bloody bags)
Cheers mate!0 -
Following on from the mad dash for the Aldi PC drawing tablet, i just found this one available online for £17.99, and it incorporates a cordless mouse.

Can anyone who bought the Aldi one comment on this bargain? My local Aldi has sold out so I might think about this one,0

That's one tiny mouse
, 12 x 8 cm working area, my cordless mouse is 11 x 7 cm, the picture makes it look as if the working area is quite large in comparison ???.
