:A Luke I didn't think your face looked scary on TV, but you did look scared and upset yourself and I think that was a good thing, it made viewers realise what an awful thing has happened to those of us on this thread this week. Some of the viewers might be the political and financial movers and shakers too or at least their researchers might have been watching.0

Is anyone going to send it back to ING? If not, where do you recommend. Don't we need about 6% gross interest to beat the current inflation? Help!!
Jesus mate, get your money safe first! Then think about the deal. With highsight its % grabbing that helped us all get in this situation. having said that pleased you got your money today0 -
I haven't got my £s yet, but all I can say is "whoop"! All is not lost it seems.
Of course I never thought it would be....lol!0 -
I expect they'll hold mine for publicising it on Channel 4. No sign of mine and hanging on the phone now for half an hour trying to get through. If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0

Have printed a copy !
Good luck everyone0 -
Yup, it does appear that those of us "earlybirds" that did BACS withdrawls late last week are the first to get the money (only fair
). Hopefully even those who haven't yet got theirs will feel comforted that the wheels have started moving again. Its only a matter of time, and by the looks of it, not a long time

Mine's through as well.... no need to slaughter the piggy to pay the builder (post 726, page 37) LOL
Well done gov.uk, well done ING ( in spite of your shameless sponsorship of Formula One ( I said that tongue-in-cheek ) I am actually very grateful. )
As someone else mentioned - this was marked as a CHAPS transfer, and not the BACS I had originally used to transfer out.
Solvent again (well until builder gets his cash!)
Thanks to all for contributing, at least there have been a few laughs amidst the anguish! :beer:The 'Mad' refers to my state of mind, not my degree of anger.... (still crazy after all these years)0 -
Inccidently, I'm taking the release of payments as a strong signal for the immediate health of ING by the way. A bank in immediate dire straights may well have procrastinated more0
