YESSSSSSS ..... 35K in my Abbey account (CHAPS on the 7th )..now on to Icesave !!!

Just signed up with tesco for my savings. UK Bank, 6.5% (for first 12months), club card points, oh and if they go bust, well then I think a trolly dash round my local store will be in order!!!

Now, just got to wait for my savings to actually turn up into my hsbc account ....

Halifax say if it was going to be there today it would already show, unless they sent it by chaps, in which case it could show later.
On the bright side I got a tax refund into my account a wopping £22.00

Our CHAPS (9th October) transfer finally arrived in our Barclays account this morning.
Still waiting for news on Icesave. Have 'fixed term account' opened early August. We were wondering if we have to wait until the end of the fixed term before receiving the money? It may well take that that long anyway!
