Your welcome - the 3 yr warranty is expensive - dell will phone you after 12 months and offer you an addtional 3 yrs (that's 1 extra) for less than they bundle up with new pc. The Ultra sharp upgrade is tempting...

They both dont come with sound card or firewire card.

The on board sound is more than adequate ( i havent bothered installing one in mine) whilst the firewire card you can pick one up for around £15
  • I am tempted by the 9150 albeit with the meagre memory but I am a bit put off by the low posts on both these deals. The 5150 is pretty close to the one a few weeks back but not too many people enthusing this time! Are we expecting a better Dell deal in the not too distant ?

I think most of the people who enthused about the 5150 ( including me) actually bought one. That's probably why there has been less reaction this time. The current 5150 is pretty much the same offer but with a 250 gig drive this time. I am delighted with my purchase, especially with the nice big 19" screen. :j Is the 9150 that much better than the 5150?

Possibly those who wanted have bought theirs. I am also thinking of buying one or could just hang on for a better deal........ but there is always going to be a better deal in a few months times.

So just got to decide when you need it most, now the kids is pestering me to get one. So justgot to bite the bullet and get it.
