I am not one to say using these vochers was wrong - but if that was 18 orders with 18 vochers you made then I think you were taking the pi*s a little bit.

i've had 3 orders and my husband's had 3. we didn't want to order any more than that in case we got charged full price once they realised what was happening - didn't want to either pay full price or post back at my own expense on any items that i wasn't already buying, so i limited it to the 6 items that i was already buying and would have paid full price for had i been found out.

I Pre-ordered Martins book in November using £5 voucher.

Until this week it was showing not released until 22/12/05 but now it has gone posted. Web site still shows not released, what's going on?

I had not followed the original thread and I see a lot of posts reporting of purchases rather than talking about codes.

My question is simple:
- is there out any play.com codes that are valid NOW (I need to order now and did not know of these codes earlier)?

They are sending out copies early but are not advertising them as in stock on the site.

The unique vouchers

It was jgjet who started the whole thing off on the Freebies board. He was the one who posted the offer first, and the one who went out every morning to get the papers and post the codes here. The thread was "mirrored" in several other sections of the site but it was jgjet who started it all off and retrieved the codes. I'm sure many (if not all) the other bargain forums/sites grabbed the codes from here after jgjet posted them.

The universal vouchers

The above offer was a great offer in itself, but on 30th Nov everything went crazy when Clareo posted the first universal code that amazingly worked for everyone. This discovery led to others posting universal codes, listed HERE.

These codes slowly propagated to other threads in other sections of MSE, by far the most popular thread that reached the most people was davels' thread in the vouchers forum.

So, a difficult one. Many people were involved in this deal. Vote who you think made the most contribution. I shall be voting for jgjet myself.

Thank you for your comments. I actually currently have 19 orders delivered using the vouchers with a few more posted but not arrived yet. Youre right 18 would have been taking the p....but it's 19 and counting NOT 18 :snow_laug
