Play did not keep up their part of the bargain by supplying everyone who applied with a £1 voucher, as stated in the original terms and conditions. They budgeted to fulfil 75,000 orders with £5 discount plus "unknown" number of orders with £1 discount. I expect Play will judge this promotion a success, they have gathered thousands of e-mail addresses and have lots of new customers. Well done everyone who got their orders fulfilled!

All play.com £5 vouchers stopped working between Wednesday 30th November and Friday 2nd December.

I do take your point though jockettuk...I just dont think that my using vouchers to that degree would effect any further promotions play may choose to offer...and to be honest I would probably give it a go in most circumstances. These are not small traders we are talking about - it's not like it will effect them even in a tiny way, but that's my opinion...each to their own. Merry Christmas to ya :xmassign:

No need to get defensive. I just pointed out that I though it was going too far. So long as you are happy with your behaviour then that is fine.

I often get stick from my friends who pirate DVDs for all the time I waste looking for bargains when they get them for free. I do not give them a hard time, everybody has their own moral code, I just think that piracy, and abusing a voucher loophole to this extent, crosses my own personal line. To me it is no better or worse than the people who use the information provided on this website and sell it on ebay.

I did worry with lots of us ordering his book that Play would suss it and cancel orders but seems not :santa2:
