Now that the fun's over (almost!), I suggest that we thank the original posters of the universal codes, click on their name to link to the post where you can hit the thanks button.
Clareo The first post that started this whole thing off at 4pm on Thursday. Universal voucher number one
louise1981 - voucher number two
GibsonSt19 - after "testing the waters" with a invalid code, he made an admirable come-back with a fully working voucher (number 3!)
By 10pm we had all used the three vouchers and were itching for more. Then came Jellyhead to the rescue with voucher number 4
Then, out of nowhere, a_k321 posted another three!. That took us up to seven.
On another thread beadysam brought us number eight.
Back on the main thread, purple-smartie posted number nine.
And the next morning, number 10 appeared on the other thread by intel
These were the main codes that most of us made (good) use of before Play blocked them.
And last but by no means least, don't forget jgjet who started the first thread in the freebies board and went out every morning to get the Mirror with the day's code and immediately posted them here. What a legend
Thanks everyone! It's been emotional :T
(oh, and don't forget poor ol' helen21 who got banned :rotfl: )
And to finish it all off here's a brilliant summary by Ally when things were in full swing!0 -
I think we should thank DBP too, cos if he didnt get all them codes cancelled they wouldnt of re-issued them to other people! snot our fault they messed up by giving away universal codes hehe0

My Boyfriend is now shouting at me cos I did not let him know about the vouchers (he should come on this site more often!!!)

I think these threads have been deeply entertaining. It's a shame my thread my hijacked by a l-whoooo-seerr (like my american-ism?) and as such it was closed. Grr.

gizmoleeds wrote:Same here, except one which was down as "Posted on 02/12/2005" has now changed to "Posted on 04/12/2005"
when did you place the order.
from what i've seen when it's posted they simply change the status to "posted" and don't do anything to the date - which seems to be updated a little later.0
