i've saved £30, i'm happy :-)

i will be shopping with play in future too, their prices are good and you don't find free delivery on books very often. my son wants shadow the hedgehog for PS2 and it's £30 in game, £30 everywhere else i've looked, £20 on amazon but only £18 on play - if only i'd known, i could have got it with a voucher lol!

They were both ordered on the first. I just went back in to find that out and in the last five minutes another has changed from Posted on 03/12/2005 to Posted on 04/12/2005!

Seven posted, one order placed and 2 pre-ordered - this really has helped to boost our Christmas this year. Gizmoleeds my despatch date has changed from 1/12/05 to 2/12/05 - as long as they come I don't mind a wait.

this is such a farce. my preorder (yes it was martin's book!) was cancelled after recieving the dreaded email from play.com. however i still have some items on processing including a book which i RECIEVED yesterday in the post! ive also been charged for 5 items and have various emails saying things have been posted but then have been cancelled by play! come monday it will be interesting to see what arrives.

i can only imagine the managers of play.com running out of a stock house screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO at the post office van taking stuff away!!

did you find out it was sent through an email? I've got emails saying things have been sent but on my account they say they've been cancelled by play.com

proof is in the pudding, so if your postman staggers to your door tomorrow then you're good!

while play should have made their codes unique i wouldn't exactly call them cancelling orders a farce - it's not as if they were handing out codes without giving you the terms and conditions - you got them when you applied for the code and also when they sent the code. can't believe people are complaining about cancelled orders, why not just be happy with what you got?

its not that thats the farce, its the whole computer system not really being updated with whats happening with everyone's orders. no one knows exactly whats happening with thier things!

how can my copy of each peach pear plum be processing if its right here?!

to be honest im just pleased to have recieved one item! it'd just be nice to know whats going on with everything else!
