    it's most likely you'll just have to give them the CV2 number off your card (the last 3 digits on the signature strip).

    i've had it happen with an account ... or two ;)

    you should have received an email with:
    We are having difficulty processing your order at this time. Unfortunately
    your card has been declined due to a discrepancy with the address you have
    supplied and the one held with your credit/debit card issuer.

    Please contact our Customer Service Department on 0845 800 1020 (UK only)
    or +44 (0)1534 877 595 (outside UK). Please have the card registered on
    the account to hand so that we can process your order. It is not necessary
    to re-submit your order.

    If you phone them up just give them the order number and sort it that way. However, i have managed to sort it by email in the past - the problem at the moment is that that might take a while.

    OH got an email stating his order has been posted .... but it only lists one of the items he ordered :confused: on the website, it show's both items as posted :confused: the posted date has now changed to 02/12 for the one he got the email for too :rolleyes:


    I can't keep up .... just gonna sit back and wait until they come through the door :o
    I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

    All six of my orders have been posted!
    And all items I was going to order through Play anyway.

    Hats off to Play for honouring the majority of these orders (and sorry to those who have had orders cancelled)

    This happened to me and my brother, we just re-entered our card details and clicked the update button and the orders went through. The details were exactly the same as before though but it worked.

    I had an email to say
    Dear

    It has come to our attention that you have used more than one Daily Mirror
    Voucher on your account. Contained in the Terms and Conditions is a clause
    which states that only one voucher per applicant may be used.

    Sadly, with this in mind, we have cancelled any outstanding orders on your
    account which have been purchased using a voucher. We do this under clause
    11 of the Terms and Conditions which give us the right to refuse any
    voucher redemption if we suspect any fraud or malredemption.

    I looked on my page and I have one order left with the discount off showing order placed and 6 cancelled. I am happy with one so Thank You Play.com but I am curious why others have had them posted. :confused:

    Account no 1 - Ordered 7 items, one with my own code others ordered with codes from here :beer:

    3 - Posted (1 actually here :j )
    1 - Order placed
    1 - Packing
    1 - Awaiting stock
    1 - Processing

    Account no. 2 - Ordered 8 items using codes from here :beer:

    2 - Posted
    1 - Pre Order (not Martins book, I will buy that from Amazon :j )
    3 - Order placed
    1 - Awaiting stock
    1 - Processing

    Everything I ordered I would of brought anyway, if i get charged full price its no great shakes ....... although £5 off each would be better :D £75 saved this Christmas. Thanks to the OP of the codes - fantastic!

    I have had the dreaded 'it has come to our attention' email LOL
    9 of my items have slipped through and been posted though so really pleased with that...a few are still outstanding and the rest have been cancelled.
    3 that I had an email for yesterday to say had been posted are now showing cancelled so looks like they arent coming, but 9 so far is pretty good going - 5 were £0 to pay and 3 had a balance. :)

    3 of my accounts said the credit card info needed updating and 1 said the address was incorrect. These were all correct so I think it may have just been a way of putting the accounts on hold while they checked things out? All of my outstanding orders on these accounts were subsequently cancelled except the ones that had already been posted.

    I can't keep up, now on play it says that my item has been posted 3/12 not 1/12 like yesterday, I have had an e-mail from them and the money has been taken out of my account.

    OH newly set up account is still 'processing' the order which had been 'posted' yesterday, no e-mail from them but money taken out of account.

    VERY STRANGE!!!!!
