Just had my second email from Play to ring them!

Have updated the card details online but they are having none of it!

Think they are trying to scare people!

Are you sure they have actually taken the money out, and haven't just requested the money be held by your bank or credit card company? I've had this happen before where a company have 'reserved' the full amount of money for an order from my account, but then have only taken the discounted amount out. Does that make sense?

Going slightly off topic, I have just nominated davels and Helen21 for post of the month award. Davels as OP and Helen21 for sheer entertainment. Not sure how it will work, maybe split the £50 between them. Anyone like to follow....

Unless you are willing to pay the full price I would definitely email them. I donmt think they are allowed to charge you full price without confirming it with you as your point of sale contract stated £0.00 to pay - that's what you agreed to. If they rumble the voucher use they would have to get you to make another point of sale contract for the full price or cancel your order.

I just got 2 emails saying both of my items have been posted. I am really pleased. That is £15 I saved now on Xmas presents. I wonder if I got mine because I had a balance to pay, can understand them cancelling orders for £4.99, they won't be making anything.

Not really, my account clearly as says two deposits have been taken out both by PLAY for £4.99 each, one yesterday and one today.

Hiya Zoe - good news here - had 2 emails saying items have been posted. Checking the site - 3 shown as posted today - others are being processed. Maybe (just maybe) there are honouring our orders - fingers crossed.

No you didnt get yours because you have a balance to pay as I have had 5 orders posted all with a £0.00 balance to pay... No rhyme or reason to it
