i dont use any consoles on it. will probably just be using it with sky to be honest.
Oh dear
Well I really recommend the Panasonic
But bare in mind, you may need to spend a little more on cables for it (And maybe the conditioner i posted for the other guy). A bigger screen means ANY faults will be easier to spot:idea:0 -

Id avoid ALL except the SamsungCastle_Rock wrote: »right, ive narrowed a few things down, definitely want a 37" lcd tv &
i reckon my budget is probably no more than £600.
Looks like these are the makes that are round about this price on various sites-
LG
Samsung
Toshiba
Philips
Would you avoid in particular any of these?
LG are generally awful at the lower end of the scale. Philips dont fair much better.
Toshibas ARE pretty good, but ive heard of screen problems after about a years worth of use!:idea:0 -
Thanks for the advise again :-)
This is looking like the best one I can find, although it doesnt say what the Hz is -

Dont worry about the Hz. Most of the cheaper end ones look better at 50Hz than at 100:idea:0 -
Thankyou. You have been most helpful.
Do you like the TV then? If you don't reply I know the answer

            haha
To be honest ive been looking for a review but cant find one. I can only find what BUYERS have said which doesnt really mean anything as they have nothing to compare it to.
Samsung are pretty good tvs though. I wouldnt have one myself mind as they spend too much on extra 'gimmicks' as opposed to ACTUAL picture quality.:idea:0 -

Isn't this slightly odd though?
If you need to compare it directly with another TV to see any difference, then surely such differences don't matter?
I don't know many people who watch TV with two TVs set up side-by-side.

I cant find a proper review either. Obviously picture quality is the most important like you say. But you have to pay more. My Mam & Dad have an excellent Panasonic one, they paid a fair whack for it but the quality is superb, it really is!0 -
Wow just found this Panasonic one,

It says it's £640 but ive just found someone stocking it for £540, surely I should get this?
There is this Panasonic one as well, cheapest I have found is £640 for this but then thats a bit over budget -
