I've just managed to secure one via the telephone at my local John Lewis store!!
Called at seconds after 9am and the lady I spoke to said she had one in her hand for me (Premium pack)
Gave her my visa number and it's ready for my collection sometime today!!!
Within 20 seconds of speaking to her she said the phones were going mad and that there were queues of over 70 people.10 seconds later all consoles had been sold.How lucky is that!!!!! (About time I had some luck though!)

I've tried Sendit - the order from Sendit said in stock but now my status is showing as 'temporarily out of stock - re-ordered' so I've cancelled. Tried Comet - the order went all the way through @ £359+£5something delivery - Tues - but haven't received any confirmation yet - and that was a good half an hour ago (fingers & toes crossed although not feeling confident!).

Thanks to OP and others anyway.
Hope some go through.

I phoned Comet to confirm whether or not my internet order was valid and have been informed from their customer services that Comet do not even have enough stock to fulfill their pre-orders let alone anyone who has ordered through their website! They have removed the link for the XBOX 360 and are currently phoning around 2000 customers (over the next 2-3 days!) whose orders have been placed and will not be receiving the xbox in time for xmas.

I placed my order around 9am and everything looked great with delivery confirmed for Tuesday but this is not the case so please do not rely on it. The lady I spoke to suggested I go elsewhere.
