i ordered at around 10.15 and got:

Due to an order query, your order has been passed to our administration team to be completed.You will normally be contacted by one of our team within twenty four hours of placing your order. They may contact you by phone or email, so please check your email account before contacting us.

When we contact you, we will confirm:

If your order has been accepted, the date and time your order will be delivered to you.
If your order has not been accepted, the reason why it could not be completed, and what to do next.

Please note: Due to this processing delay we may not be able to offer you the delivery date and time you originally selected, and in this situation we will allocate the next available delivery time and date.Should you find that this date or time is no longer suitable please contact us on the telephone number below to re-arrange a suitable delivery date.

Please quote your surname and postcode when you contact us so that we can retrieve your order. This will help us to deal with your query more effectively.

When we advise you that your order has been processed, you do not need to call us to confirm your delivery, we update our delivery system at the same time as we confirm the delivery date with you (either by email or telephone).

I had the same. Called CS, they advised that I should receive a call today. They couldn't tell me why it'd be allocated to a manual order processing queue though. Perhaps I've been hitting the payment card too much?!

Ordered mine from Comet on Friday. Still has not arived yet - is scheduled to do so some time today. I keep on looking out of the window every 10 seconds....Think I am going mad.....

I have read that a couple of you have received the 360 today.....any more stories out there from people who are due to get a delivery today ?

I have just been on the phone to Comet about an order I placed for xbox360 on saturday.
The lady says that they are getting stock each week, and once all pre ordered consoles have been fulfilled, then they will send out recent orders. They are expecting more than they have pre-ordered so you just might get lucky. Also no payment is taken from your card untill despatch and you can cancel at any time.

just placed a order with the original post at the begining and it went through , maybe back in stock

Nope, I called them this morning and they said they didn't have any, and didn't think they'd get any before Christmas. But you never know.

I have an order with them too y'see.
