Could people please post back about what their Boots shopping evenings were like? I think some took place last night, and some tonight? Mine is Thursday night, and I'm curious if there will be special offers and deals besides the bonus points, as I wouldn't spend 50 anyway.
I'm going to one on Wednesday evening so I'll let you know. The one's last year were not as good as the year before. They usualy have a DJ and free wine/oranage juice and mince pies. They also give out free samples of creams etc but definately not as many freebies last year!

Just got back from Birmingham High St and found NO7 Deeply moisturising lip care reduced from £8.75 to £4.38 got 3 so 342 kicked in, grabbed 2 mitchum solids @ £3.28 each, two for £3.50 kicked in, used No7 ts & £1 off mitchum total paid £6.26 and got another pinkie.
Loads of different old No7 gwp on stand as well
  • Eww, DD’s picked up head lice

Thought I would post a quick reminder for anyone who doesn’t know, you can get free head louse treatment for your child or anyone who gets free prescriptions, by visiting your community pharmacy, Boots or otherwise, rather than having to wait for an appointment with the nurse at the surgery.
You need to take a sample of the lice in with you, best way is to sellotape a couple to a piece of paper, they’ll ask for the patient’s name, address, DOB and GP then give you a full course of treatment free of charge, embarassed teenagers can send mum to the pharmacy as there's no need to see the nurse. DD has been given two bottles of Prioderm to be used a week apart.

Not sure why pharmacies don’t publicise this more, most seem happy just to sell you the lotions, the price can add up though especially if you have several children to treat.
We have a Nitty Gritty comb from Boots but DD is so freaked out by the thought, wait for it, of lice having sex on her head :rotfl: that she’s insisted on chemical warfare to kill ‘em off.
  • lisa364, when you bought the mitchums was there a sign up saying they were 2 for £3.50 or did it kick in automatically at the till? :)
