They will be able to trace the sa from the reciept when he asked you to pay at the main til. Each SA has a log in number for the til which is individual to them so that managment can trace them if there is a problem .

I can not believe they treated you like that phone cs and TAKE IT ALL THE WAY
Oh  , I'd checked my reciept and there really have the name one till, never know that before. Thanks so much, now I can phone cs with the person's name then. Thanks so much:T .

    This lovely foundation is showing

    No7 Instant Radiance Foundation 30ml

£13.25 on web site. It was £10.50 in a main boots, and in my little local one was reduced to £3.30 (or free with pinkie). Why is there so much difference in price??

    I got some for 6.88:confused: actually, I paid 1.88 after pinkie:D

It's a mystery why stores price things differently. I guess the store manager reduces products that aren't selling very well...and makes up a sale price:rotfl: the best bargains are to be found in smaller stores - in my experience anyway:)

    I bought this in a small store today:95_large.jpgfor 1.00:T it's 6.99 in larger stores.

I can't wait for the new No7 GWP. I'm trying to hold on to my last pinkie and tillspit. Would be great if No7 suncare went on bogof again. Fingers crossed:D

Hi Sazzyb, great to find another Londoner! The stores that I know that have ss tills are: Bond Street station but it's quite a small branch, Selby Place - the one just up from Bond Street Station - ss tills are downstairs but are closely "guarded" by SS SA's! Liverpool Street station have a bank of them near to the pharmacy area, finally another poster on here said they have them at Brent Cross. HTH. ;)

That's true, they usually are, but this morning they weren't;) I even managed to womble a tillspit:)

Are you guys still using the MITCHUM coupons? I used them the last time round, but wouldn't dare try them again. SA's went on about them being photocopied. Older SA's had no idea what downloading off the website and printing them meant, and I had a gaggle of SA's crowding round. Not for me at all. .

I haven't bothered with them this time round either. I had the same problems with using them as you mentioned and especially with the older SAs. It's just not worth the hassle and the vouchers never scanned anyway. The SA always had to key in the barcode:rolleyes:

When I printed the Mitchums out the first time the SA had to key in the barcode but when I printed them out again on "photo quality" in the print settings then they scanned! :D

Had a bad bootsing day today, went in to my local store and was acussed of photocopying the mic mocs, explained that they were off the internet. I have left it with this store and not complained in the hope they will start treating me better than they do. When i go in the staff are always watching me and its not one its a few and i have been in with friends who have noticed me been watched, they are not friendy with me, i feel really uncomfortable shopping there so do try and avoid that store, i had to go in today to collect my repeat perscription. There was one member of staff who was sitting on the floor stacking the shelfs and she was more intrested in looking at me and my nieces. One time i went to a till to pay for some goods sa wasn't friendly wasn't really bothered about serving me then as soon as a suvery came out of the till was nice to me then. I have finally put a complain in today with cs, its the atitude they had with me today, they way they treat me i have had enought. Another boots i go to are brilliant, i can only go to this one when my oh can take me as i don't drive. It made me feel down for a while today.

It's such a shame you are treated like that, and it sounds like the staff have pointed you out to each other as someone who uses a lot of coupons and is thus "suspicious". Totally unfair, but hard to do much about it. I'd still complain, though.

As to helping you avoid that store, did you know you can get prescriptions delivered to your home for free? I've thought about using this service myself when I've gotten fed up with Boots, and I may do it yet some day. It's at Chemist Direct. I think you set it up basically like a repeat service at Boots, but you do it through the post. Has anyone else used this service?

I know you can't do much about it. That is why I feel I am gonna tone down my BOOTSing. Most of the SA's are brill, just smile and start conversation with them and they are lovely, but there are a few that look at you like you have just jumped from Mars! There is one SA at my local Boots who just has this attitude to her. Can't stand her. I tend to just avoid the attitude filled SA's and go to nicer ones. Most of the SA's at the Leeds store are just adorable. If you have 4 PINKIES and want them to do 4 x the same transaction, they do it, and don't scowl or give you attitude at all.
