Does anyone know the date that the new No7 GWP starts? I'm sure someone said early November but I can't find the post now! Also is that the same time that the new No7 items in the Christmas catalogue will be out (Glitter eyeliners etc)
Thanks!0 -
Elephant, tiger, leopard, zebra, rhino and a giraffe. Six small ones and two large ones, (one was an elephant) though I'm darned if I can recall what the other large one was.
My lads were quite small when this offer was on and their granny just kept on giving me vouchers to get them these animals. Goodness knows what she was buying to get the vouchers...I was wombling them and scrounging them off childfree relatives just so I could tell mum that I had the set and she could stop getting vouchers...then she decided BOTH kids needed a set. ARGH!!!
They're still all up in the loft, I think.
Edit: The other large one was a tiger. NO I did not go up to the loft to look!!!
there was also a large giraffe my dog is running around the house with it as we speak- she is also very fond of sylvester from the loony tunes promotion0 -

Not a surprise, the manager is horrible, probably doesnt want anyone to have reduced items.0 -
Personally I think it is very cheeky as you get £10 back in points on a £50 spend anyway to want even more extra points.
I want as many ponts as I can get by legal means, and don't think that's cheeky at all. I am perfectly happy to pass over a handful of vouchers to the SA and ask politely if any of them are applicable. If the SA scans the vouchers and they go through, what's cheeky about that?Val.0 -

Was there? Wow, my mum must have been having an off day that day, not to have noticed there was a giraffe.Val.0 -
No men's items reduced in the Leeds store. What a shame! However did manage to get some R+M clearance items. Got the metallics thing. On clearance at £4.50. 1st SA said no to the PINKIE, 2nd SA said no, 3rd SA said no, 4th SA did it for me via a manual override. Asked her if she would do it again, she said yes, did it again. So got 2 R+M metallics things. Then had my eye on the little R+M cream coloured mini bag things. On clearance again, at £2.13. So picked up 3, went to SA, put it through, used a PINKIE, had to pay £1 and something. Did the R+M mini bag thing again, and it went through. RESULT: Used 4 PINKIES. Got 2 R+M metallics and 6 R+M mini hangbag things, and paid about £2.50. Woohoo. Get me. *** Also some INSTANT RADIACE BLUSHER things that were reduced to £6.63. So if you had your 300, 200 and 500 point coupons, this would have been a steal as you can use PINKIE on it too. Oh well. *** Anyway, time for a rest, as I had a whole collection of stuff that I was hauling around with me today. Don't forget to *POUT*0

granted that a lot of glitches are down to multiple use of vouchers. But I suspect that all SA have been been primed and told not accept them in this case.
I also believe that on the day on events such as this that either the Advantage card machines are switched off or bonus vouchers are removed.
Personally I think it is very cheeky as you get £10 back in points on a £50 spend anyway to want even more extra points.
Each to there own try if you want to but if too many people do it then it just means that that Boots will clamp down even further. If you get flustered and embarrassed easily then I would say don't try it.

Sorry but i think its a bit cheeky you saying someone is cheekyfor wanting extra points. After all isnt this thread about maximising benefits?
Nobody is trying to defraud, just obtain what they may be allowed. If they arent, they will be told by SA.0 -
Presumably you could get the GWP if you took advantage of the "Pay with points, get 1/3rd off" offer that's on selected lines of S&G? I think you'd have to hand over 1500 points, of course, but you'd be getting more than £15 worth of S&G in purchases plus the GWP. If you've got points you want to get rid of plus you like the lines in the offer it might be a good deal.
Also, can you get the GWP when you buy a gift set of S&G? If so, the gift sets are 3-4-2. And the 1000 points when you spend £50 nights are coming up.
Which of the S&G items are 1/3rd off when paying with points, please? There are no signs about this in my local Boots.0 -

If that's the case then you might as well say that this whole thread is cheeky and morally wrong as it is all based on ways to take advantage of coupons/multibuys etc
At the end of the day most of the people on this forum must spend an absolute fortune in boots over a year period so why not try and get a little back?
Just my opinion.
