I hope you don't think I am mean and I know that people are new to the thread, but on the last pages there was 3or 4 times this question... so it seems that they don't even bother to read the last 2 or 3 pages... just read the last message and if it says something about a pinkie than they reply "what's a pinkie? I'm a newbie..."
Just read a few pages before posting, please...
I kind of agree with you, it would be good if it were included on 1st page, but don't forget that CPG edits that page in her own time-not as her 'job', and also, people like me, with a toddler, housework, hubby to look after etc don't have time to read 3 pages of posts everytime they log on!!
SFG x
But....you have to read the posts to find out about the bargains, surely? Not everything is being discussed on the most recent half dozen posts. If you want to know about every glitch you really do have to read all the posts since you last logged on otherwise you'll quite possibly miss something.Val.0 -

Incidentally I think I have found the perfect mix for me for keeping my makeup on all day - No7 P&P day cream, then No7 Shine Control, then one of the L'Oreal foundations, No7 Instant Radiance concealer, and finally No7 loose powder in Translucent. I find with the occasional light dab of No7 pressed powder in Translucent, my makeup lasts from early morning (for me that means 7.30am) to 10-11pm at night when I usually take it off (with an industrial strength sander
)
Hi, can you tell me what this is please? Can't find it on .com and my store is titchy so won't stock it. The only thing similar I can find is No7 Shine Free Make Up Base.
It sounds ideal for me as I have oily but sensitive skin :rolleyes: so can't use products made for oily skin.0 -

Ah whoops!I was typing from memory...you're quite right, it is called No7 Shine Free Make-Up Base (I've used it on and off for years so maybe they changed the name
) The No1 thing to remember when using this is to moisturise properly before hand - AND LET THE MOISTURISER SINK IN PROPERLY FIRST!!! Otherwise the makeup base has a habit of rubbing off when you try and apply foundation on top (or even if you just want to apply the base straight to unmoisturised skin). I know it sounds a bit weird - using a base to control shine but slapping on the moisturiser first, but it works for me

Oh and on the subject of the Christmas sale - don't things like perfume box sets first go in the sale as 1/3 off? I've never bought a Dior boxset in the first days of the sale for anything more than 1/3 off (unfortunately
)

Hiya everyone,
just wondered if we could still use pinkies towards R & M brushes, sponges, No7 gloves, nail buffer sets as before or has anyone not been allowed this time around?
Also are many peeps finding No7 breast cancer powder and lipglosses reduced as I can only find them at original price?
TIA Neffy XX
Not tried it yet... but have noticed that the nail buffers and sponges are now £6! :eek: So going to cost a quid now. :mad:
Also heard that the Time Delay wipes are going up to £6...so they won't be totally free when the skincare vouchers come back.0 -

I agree Val, I think all of us have babies/kids( in my case 4, youngest 6 months, oldest doing 11+ and schools selections) /a life, but the whole point of a forum is to participate, if I'm busy I skim read, the glitches are highlighted, CPG does a great job of updating the first post, if people want to know how it all works then they need to READ the posts, otherwise whats the point
and if it's only 3 pages to read that is not much at all, last month there were 36 pages in 12 hours, have to say, did only skim read that time:o0 -

I'm not suprised considering how much we took advanatage of everything with the vouchers to get it for free.. oh well, Boots will bring something else out that we can get free, I am sure.:rolleyes:0 -
Hi,
Also I have some John Frieda vouchers as follows:-
£2 off Volume Thickening Shampoo
£2 off Volume Thickening Conditioner
£2 off Thickening Blow-dry Lotion.
If anyone would like them please pm me.
I had these. Mr Asda kindly took them off my total shopping bill and then handed them back to me!
In the interests of recycling I then used them again this last time - and I still have them;)
When I say used, I mean I put my list and vouchers on the side while shopping is scanned and SA's grab them and say "I'll put these through for you"then hand them back to me! Its the coupons I can't get rid of!

Morning everyone. No Bootsing for me today, got a mega exam to revise for tomorrow, but when it's done I've finished my degree! Yay!!! :j
Anyway – I'll be going to Boots tomorrow so can anyone tell me whether the parenting club coupon that was for 'Save £4 wyb any Olay Total Effects Moisturiser' works on the total effects hand treatment @ £4.97?
Thanks.0
