Morning everyone. No Bootsing for me today, got a mega exam to revise for tomorrow, but when it's done I've finished my degree! Yay!!! :j

Anyway – I'll be going to Boots tomorrow so can anyone tell me whether the parenting club coupon that was for 'Save £4 wyb any Olay Total Effects Moisturiser' works on the total effects hand treatment @ £4.97?

    Thanks.

Yes hon, that's the one we were buying :)

Not tried it yet... but have noticed that the nail buffers and sponges are now £6! So going to cost a quid now.

Also heard that the Time Delay wipes are going up to £6...so they won't be totally free when the skincare vouchers come back.

    ah poo!

that'll make them a lot less interesting for me

BUT less visits to Boots looking for the blasted things = less money spent for me! :rotfl:

YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!! I'm so sorry - the 75% off was the middle of Jan - I bought lots so have just checked. Found a receipt dated 15/01/08 that's the one I was referring to. Sorry everyone................. I'd have been queuing up too early!

Thanks Skibster, I'm glad you spotted my mistake.

Now you know why I don't often post :o . I make a much better lurker.

No, it's good you spoke up! A lot of people have been talking about sales on Boxing Day, and I was Bootsing at that time last year so I really didn't know what to expect. Now that you've clarified that the super sales really aren't until January, I don't have to care about not being here in late dec, lol. And it's good, too, so that you didn't end up waiting at opening time on Boxing Day only to be disappointed that it was 75% off!

That's insane, none of those products are worth it. The quid you'd pay for the TD wipes after the voucher isn't even worth it -- there are plenty of wipes at Tesco you can usually get for a quid that are probably as good as those TD wipes, and less pungent (I don't really care for the heavily fragranced td wipes). Boots must be confusing an item's popularity because it was free with actual popularity, as I don't think many people will buy those things at full price, and they won't even tempt me with a till spit if I still have to pay a quid, lol.

I had these. Mr Asda kindly took them off my total shopping bill and then handed them back to me! :D

In the interests of recycling I then used them again this last time - and I still have them;)

When I say used, I mean I put my list and vouchers on the side while shopping is scanned and SA's grab them and say "I'll put these through for you" :p then hand them back to me! Its the coupons I can't get rid of! ;)

Sorry but as a coupon user I have to say this but it's not getting at you hon -just a reminder for others who might try to follow your example.

The cashier will have been £6 astray in her till for those coupons - if questioned over it she may well click straight away and remember your face and the 3 x £2 coupons she accidentally gave back to the customer. Maybe think of the bigger picture and give them back next time :o
  • I think quidco pay this for a subscription? jamster will charge you £4.50 per week:eek:.

yes they do but you can do single song downloads for £1.50 with £1.80 cashback
best to do one per day to ensure that they track
i,ve steadily been doing this over the past couple of months

    .

I went to my first 75% off sale this year: WOW!!! My big, strong OH had to make 3 trips back to the car :o:o:o but I was able to buy almost all the birthday presents for the year & lots for this Christmas too.

Most of it was financed by my2007 Pigsback Boots vouchers -shame their travel points have been decimated this year!
