:hello: Evening all,
Picked up a couple of Ruby and Millie reduced goodies
Metallics set for £4.50 instead of £18
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=48235&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
The eye kit for £3 instead of £12
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=48212&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
And the lip kit for £3 instead of £12 (can't find that on .com)
The lovely SA suggested trying a pinky, I wasn't hopeful and of course the till beeped, nevermind I'm happy.
I did use a couple of pinkies one on an No7 eyeshadow brush, so 75p instead of £5.75, love love love these brushes. And I got a R&M nail varnish (in pink 440c) which for some reason scanned at £8.50 rather than £9 so £3.50 post pinky
I haven't really been following this thread closely but I was surprised to notice (when I was working out what I wanted to get on the pinky merry-go-round) that the No7 gloves and No7 nail buffers had gone up by £1, cheeky Mr B :rotfl:3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time

Maybe I did actually dream it as I thought it was maybe advertised in the xmas book, but it's not. doh!!!:o:o:o

By the way, can anyone put on the first page what pinkie means?
I hope you don't think I am mean and I know that people are new to the thread, but on the last pages there was 3or 4 times this question... so it seems that they don't even bother to read the last 2 or 3 pages... just read the last message and if it says something about a pinkie than they reply "what's a pinkie? I'm a newbie..."
Just read a few pages before posting, please...
I kind of agree with you, it would be good if it were included on 1st page, but don't forget that CPG edits that page in her own time-not as her 'job', and also, people like me, with a toddler, housework, hubby to look after etc don't have time to read 3 pages of posts everytime they log on!!

Weak-willed creature that I am, I gave into the lure of the pinkie, and went shopping in Glasgow today. Couldn't get any of the 'extra points machines' to work - just me, or was there a problem?
Boots in St Enoch were still giving away the Elizabeth Arden GWP which supposedly ended late September (a purple clutchbag/handbag with bits and bobs inside). They gave it away without a skincare purchase too. I bought a cream foundation (reduced to £10.00 - but I've seen it for £9.99 in other establishments)and the charity eye shadow palette (£10.00). Maybe they gave me the GWP anyway because they waved it in front of me to tempt me into buying...
(did I mention 'weak-willed' already?
).
It also got me a tillspit No7 voucher! :j And reminded me that - last time round - I also got a tillspit from one of the tills at the 'electricals' area of that shop.
There are also ss tills in St Enoch, so maybe that's why they've got the tillspit technology. But, for people who don't have access to ss tills, it might be worthwhile paying at some of the 'smaller' tills in your local stores - one of them MIGHT give out tillspits.

Just in case it helps anyone, they had the S&G GWP yesterday but not with the usual S&G stuff! It was on a special stand at the end of an aisle: I think it was the one with the vitamins on, next to hair dye one.
Also this branch don't seem to be doing 'pinkies', just till spits for the £5 off No7/R&M."Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence": Desiderata0 -
