Plan meals tonight and tidy locker – anyone any ideas for something I can do with all my domlio pasta and the express sauces – they are getting a bit boring!

Guys, one thing that I have decided will def help my budgeting is getting a travel card rather than oyster pay as you go, always something comes up and I use the buses or go somewhere and end up spending more than a travel card! Stupid me!! At least then i know i wont be more than that fixed amount each month on travel.
Well hopefully it will be a no spend day again for me guys…Im going to put all my change in my seleed pot jar. I will not spend anything until Friday payday guys....thats the plan!!! I hope i do it!
Ill be keep reading the board today and getting motivation from you all..

Tallie, I am just selling stuff, mainly on ebay, it's a real chore listing though. Part of my debt has been through buying nice clothes and riding gear. I've been absolutly ruthless(ish) and make myself ebay three items at the weekend and three mid-week. This saves having to take too many parcels to the post office at a time. I still have quite a lot to go:o
Also have put books on Amazon, but there's no guarantee of when or if they will sell. The other place I have sold sucessfully on is musicmagpie, they are slow in paying, but it does come through eventually.
I have yet to venture into my loft, I think there's a lot of vintage stuff up there :rotfl:
Fay I'm sure you'll make up with your friend, you sound far too lovely to risk losing your friendship.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Afternoon Sophiesmum et al
I have a cold today so feeling very sorry for myself. Hence why I just scoffed a fried egg sandwich for lunch..feed a cold and all that malarkey
Well today my efforts will be:
* Cleaned my brothers house - money he pays me will cover fuel for the week
* Washing drying on radiators - house looks like Widow Twankeys laundry but never mind!
* Storecupboard dinner
* Have some ebay things finishing which will just put me over my target to get step-daughters xmas present - wahey!!!:D
* Making a big pot of soup later from veggies starting to go a bit limp
Hope you all have good Mondays

Today I have bought lunch from Tesco for 70 p (2 x bagels, brought my own cheese in!);
Have written to Petplan and Pigsback to complain about them not permitting the 2,500 piggypoints for taking out a policy through the Pigsback website and have asked for all premiums back (It's £36 but it's the principle of the thing that bugs me);
I've written to the broker who dealt with my last mortgage and who tied me into a 4 year life insurance policy despite me not needing it (this not being explained to me);
Checking competitions and for piggy pointsAlmost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Hi Piquant, thank you for your post! That’s very sweet of you. My friend did something she shouldn’t and im very disappointed in her. Will see how things go.
Ive just come back from docs and have happy pills….cost me the large fund of 12 pounds..great…there goes my no spend day guys!! But it should be a help to my bad times….
The selling stuff sounds a chore but a fab way to get some extra cash. I wonder if I have anything I can sell but it would take me so long to sort out all my junk! I didn’t realise you could sell books on amazon though, I shall look into that!
Well i suppose i should have some lunch guys then some sleep!

Today I have:
- Brought in own lunch
- Today is a nsd, and if I can nsw that will be 4 weeks in a row
- Read papers online

- Checked bank online, updated spreadsheet
- Post wii game I sold on Amazon yesterday for 21 pounds :j

So glad we've got the allotment now, and resolved to turn my hobby in to something that, in effect, becomes a second income by increasing yields to enable us to not only be self-sufficient but to also be able to produce enough to sell some as well.
Last weeks household budget remained intact despite several close relatives birthdays, so a very good week in total.Unsecured debt 2008 c £45,000
Current unsecured debt February 2016 £1,734.85

I just like to give you all list envy, where would you be without a case of list envy:rotfl:
Hope the friendships sort themselves out, whichever way they go, sometimes these things happend and we just have to trust the process that these things will work themselves out;)
Tallie, good luck with starting the reading, am not sure how much the reading is helping me, one of the tutors will ask us if someone knows what a term is and i will have read it but completely forgot it. might start making notes as i write now. Have you thought about trying meditation to de-stress or certainly taking 10mins each morning/night/whatever your working and just having a bit of alone time? I know it sounds a bit lame but it can really help and just stills everything and we can't achieve all the things we want to unless we are healthy mind body and spirit.
I think i've been reading too many self help/counselling books:rotfl:
other things i thought of:
-Am keeping the heating off today as much as poss, as now we don't have other people living with us, money is going to be tight
-Am off to do my daily clicks
-Will write down meter reading and submit them on eon website plus have a look to see how much we have used since our last bill
-Put money in payment a day challenge
-Write out invoice for cleaning job to take in tomorrow
-Will check online banking and move any money around
-Will look for mystery shops
-Will update spreadsheets and challenges
-Will look on here for more ways to make and save money:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
