Morning peeps.

How you all doing?

Off to work for me today as usual, but should not be as stressed this week as I was last week (I hope!)

Too tired to fly today and can't move after running 5.5miles yesterday:eek:

Monday morning blues here...........only 5 day till the weekend:j
My office is looking emptier and emptier as each of my clients collect their books for the last time:o ..still feel a bit of a failure on that one but I need to focus on my family, my new job and my mental health.

Kitted both the boys out winter stuff hats/gloves/scarves and a coat each....when I got to the till the very kind girl said she had some 40% off vouchers that had to be used by today so I got £45 worth of stuff for £26:T
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Good morning everyone

I feel quite good today - especially after the emotional meltdown of yesterday (went shopping with Wayne and he said something and I just cried for two hours, whilst complaining that he's a horrid git) I wouldn't even tell you what he said to upset me!

Loads to do today but I'll be popping on here every so often.

Morning  I'm also suffering a bit from the exertion of yesterday. Definitely need to take it easy for a couple of days because I got a couple of SPD-type 'clicks' as I rolled over in bed, and I really can't afford to destabilise those joints.

So absolutely no running until Wednesday, then light run only, then if I'm okay, light run again on Friday. And will decide on Sunday if I feel ready for another longer run. Oh I should be posting this on the running thread really, lol!!

Hoope everyone is well today - Cat, glad you're okay hun xx

Maz you've swam 40 lengths already today? :T well done you! If you actually have straighteners with you I'd go for it!

I was going to walk to work this morning but OH got me up late  mind you I'm not complaining, I feel like CRAP, yet another cold, I keep sniffing at my desk but no sympathy yet

I am in a good mood today.

  • Plug in the sink  that's the best you could do?

:p you've not been at the woo woo's already have you Maz?

Unplug your PC, plug in straighteners, use computer monitor as a mirror!

Not spoiling my good mood - but am so stressed with work - right, this is not hard to understand I don't think, even for a Monday morning - whilst on maternity leave I accrued 2 weeks annual leave, right? So I took that officially from 1st to 12th September. And came back on the 15th. Only I came back to do 26 hours a week, my annual leave was 2 x 37 hours.

But my manager can't understand that I need paying for 2 x 37 hours and not 2 x 26 hours

    :tears out hair:

Am going boots shopping at lunchtime - boots as in footwear, not Boots the chemist. Want nice ankle boots for work with a low heel. Am I asking too much?
