Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Just spent over an hour on DD2 bedroom did only go in to put some toys away and finally gave in to the mess, so I have -
filled 1 black bag of carp
filled 1 black bag for charity (will the charity shop take old shoes?)
rearranged the furniture - all on my own....
    stripped the bed
    washed the window

off now to collect her from school think the walk home will be discussing the new rules of a tidy bedroom...

toots - dont worry no chance of joining the peg clan mind on far more important things than matching pegs!!!!!!!

valli - thank for the explanation for HHP did try to think of one but all i came up with was half hour party and as you had 4 on your list was wondering what you were up to today!!!!

re selling on ebay I have some outgrown clothes from DD2 should i bag them and sell in a one or sell individually???
  • I've got a quick hour before I've got to go out so I'd better crack on - anyone up for a HHC at 3-3.30 or pigpen will get smacking :D?
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

All the washing is dry now, folded and put away.

I have some pink pegs that I bought when we went on holiday last year, they're not much good. Mostly I have wooden pegs but some of those are "special", stronger than the others, so I keep them clipped to the edge of the peg bag so they are easy to find. They are perfect for heavy stuff, like jeans.
  • still left to do...............

    clutterbust desk
    clean computer
    empty WM
clean out bathroom cabinet and fling
    vacuum upstairs

    to take to mums:-
wedding photos - must decide before sat which to have in album
something to scoff for tea as mums fridge is usually filled with carp
    this weeks mags for sis
load of mags to rip and chuck - yes I'm still doing that and have been ALL WEEK - (yes I do have that many)
nail stuff to do a manicure for stressed out sis
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

It was me Mozzy - thanks for that - Flower helped too! I am RUBBISH at using CTRL shortcuts cos I can never remember them!
    :coffee::coffee::coffee: anyone? Help yourself...

Thanks, that will go down very well (mmmm, it's a bit cold now...:D )

Valli, if you want to learn the CTRL shortcuts, if you are in word (or anything else for that matter) click on 'file' or 'edit' or any of the others and the menu appears - look next to each part - ie: paste and it will have its shortcut next to it ie: ctrl v - if you're bored (or trying to waste time, or avoiding doing something else ashamed0001.gif) and in a word doc and want to learn them or always have a list handy, you could then type them up!

If you've got Office 2007 and don't have file, edit, etc any more, just hover your mouse over each icon you use most and want to learn and the control will come up then... HTH...

  • Good morning all.
I confess...I already do the matching peg thing. I even have a set of blue holiday pegs that we take on holiday with us, because our caravan is trimmed with blue. :rotfl:

   NOOOOOOOO, don't, please, don't, I can see them [STRIKE]smiling[/STRIKE] smirking away now, rubbing their hands together, you don't know what you've done....
