Good after spoon all
Well not much flying done really by me, but DPs just cleared the dining room inc sorting rubbish and stuff to sort through as he bought himself a keyboard today. I have bought a coffee maker but was too busy collecting DS2 and taking him home via the park to make a space just yet. It's one of those lazy ones you put the little pots in but tried the coffee today and it's really nice.Got Matthew's sand/water playtable to go with his clothes etc for his birthday, got the pet foods, picked up a massive amount of storage boxes from someone on Freecycle so we can start reorganising easier (and cheaper!) Oh my car was rather full after all that and a trip to Costco.....It's costing a bit of money but this gettin new things for DP means he's a bit more interested in helping, probably be cheaper to hire help however.....
Tonight, swimming night, before swimming will try to reorganise some of the kitchen while laughing at DP trying to teach the kids how to play the keyboardOne day I might be more organised...........

Massive hugs diva and big sloppy dalmatian licks too. Talking of dalmatian licks i'm brushing her teeth for the first time tonight!!! I'll report back!!!
Pigpen - I didn't know you had a pet mule...where do you keep him.
I've brushed and vacuumed my downstairs floor and spotty dog is currently spitting all over it as she tries to get the treat out of this kong thing. I don't think it's possible to get it out but it's taken her two hours so far and she's not giving up!
Suppose I'd better go and tidy our bedroom. Humphhh....don't actually want to but i'm working all day tomorrow and on a course Saturday and Sunday so will have to do something now. Problem is...every time I leave puppylicious she sneaks upstairs and she's not allowed to go up there. I'm trying to resist the stairgate simply because I hate them. She went up a minute a go and came racing down being chased by the cat.....class! xx0 -
Is anyone actually doing any flying here today or are you all just waffling????
Do I have to get out my mule??
I have done LOADS - just been too busy to post - honest!
Just ironed almost all the washing done today and I have made almost all my phone calls...I have also provided shoulder/listening ear to DS...denisefowler wrote: »Valli, if you want to learn the CTRL shortcuts, if you are in word (or anything else for that matter) click on 'file' or 'edit' or any of the others and the menu appears - look next to each part - ie: paste and it will have its shortcut next to it ie: ctrl v - if you're bored (or trying to waste time, or avoiding doing something else) and in a word doc and want to learn them or always have a list handy, you could then type them up!
Thanks for that - would you believe I am the fountain of all ICT knowledge at work?...
Got to go now DD has to go for a jab...

Hello everyone:hello:
No flying done, yet, today. But there's still time:rolleyes: Maybe;)
I've quickly skimmed through the thread. Whilst DH and DS are stressing at each other in the kitchen:rolleyes:.........again!! *sigh*
Right, Flower - you really put a whole 1kg bag of soda crystals in your WM all at once? Dunno if I'm that brave TBH.
kazmeister - think your right. Our OH must be twins;)
Zed42 - will be trying out the Chocolate fudge reciepe. Thanks for that:T
Christamasshopper - I am very proud of you ironing your shower curtain and for having matching pegs:T I confess that if I had a caravan I would also have 'holiday pegs' too;)
Valli - well done on the recruiting front. I still have my thinking cap on for the slogan. I will get there. Just need to 'iron it out' a bit:rotfl:
hollyh - go buy an escort;) I know where there is one for sale at a very reasonable price. I know how you feel though. It seems like it's a never ending stream of one thing after another at times.
And finally..............Toots - one day you will be part of the 'Peg Posse'.:p

I've just taken the clothes of the line and I always look a complete fool as I start giggling to myself as I purposefully put different coloured pegs in any old order on my line!!! Am I on the hitlist now?
I need to get up and do a washing load and sort the dry clothes xx0 -
OOOOHHHHH! BL**DY TAX OFFICE!!!!!!
Trying to sort out Hubbys stuff - if you are in construction and you start in April with a company you have been with before (2 week break) and are given a temporary job to build something, but you leave just before it is built and will be laid off, is it still a temporary job? No, apparently it has all of a sudden become a permanent place of work???How do they work that out???   and because it was permanent all the lodge, fuel, living expenses he had while he was up there is apparently now not tax free and he has to pay tax on them, whereas if he had stayed until he was laid off (about a month), he would not have had to pay tax???
Sorry jjeff, been on the phone for the last 23 mins trying to sort it out - just going for a really quick shower now as running late then gonna get dinner on and get stuck in again...if you're up for another one at 5pm, I'm in...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0
