Oh hang on! I thought today was the LR (tailsbetweenmylegs) so does that mean since I've done the bedroom and the kitchen according to the standard list I can get away with dailying the LR? :j
OOOO, Im going to find a bedroom and kitchen list so I can see EXACTLY how much I did....Im still trying to get that :coffee:0 -
hex - my favourite revenge is the council parks worker who was sacked. Unfortunately, the last task he had was to plant daffodils on the main grass area into town. They all flowered beautifully in spring, clearly spelling out a selection of obscenities!:D!
I really like that one, if you don't mind I will add it to my collection of reasons why my clients should always pay people their notice and not make them work it.
Pigpen - yes please, take me! I have been trying to buy some estee lauder stuff (idealist and some foundation) on Boots online but none of the codes work and I wont buy it if I don't feel it is a bargain. Even if I have run out of both and it is a dire emergency.
I did my charity bag fling through the junk corridoor, I have been quite ruthless. I may regret it so I need to get the bag out of the house asap. I really need to clear the junk corridoor so we can move the walls around for the new bathroom, but I have nowhere to store things. No wardrobes as everything went mouldy when we moved in and we haven't bought new ones since we fixed the problem. No cash for new wardrobes now. Most of my kitchen stuff is in there as well, and of course I have no kitchen cupboards. I have pruned it down a lot via freecycle etc so we are down to mostly essential stuff.
I also did an hour of vegetable patch weeding and turned over the compost heaps. Suicidal chickens keep having near miss incidents with the garden fork which makes for slow progress. Lots more to do but I thoroughly enjoyed a bit of fresh air and even stopped feeling sorry for myself for the first time in weeks! Off to collect the boys now, I bet they will want to play out as well so should get a bit more done.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
