Only two minutes till I go cook dinner - cajun chicken with watercress and orange salad tonight - a summery meal becasue the sun has been shining! I'd like the choc fudge pud recipe please - and I'll swap for my chocolate fudge icing recipe!

I've had a booking for Friday, art at a school I like, and they asked for me (benefit of having an unusual name I think!) So, the bathroom will have to be postponed till Saturday. Shame.:D

I've spent all afternoon in the garden, and feel very much better for it too hex! Oh, I forgot to say that I was very impressed by the way you worked out your career plan!

lil_me - hope it went better than your thought. Your new plan sounds very good to me.

dusty - the avatar is supposed to be animated and watering pots of plants, but I can't get it to work properly!

Thanks for all the advance orders on the book – I shall consider a champagne launch! I really am going to have to finish it now aren’t I – instead of talking about it and polishing the paperclips!

Have tried to thank everyone but it seems to have been a bit random and the site's v. slow. Never mind.

Lil-me - hope your exam results aren't as bad as you fear

Good news today - I've been granted a week off - week of 20th October. I'm half toying with the idea of going away but I'm not sure where and for how long or even if I will. I'll decide over the weekend. There may be some nice cottage somewhere that hasn't been booked up...

Have just had a cup of tea and am about to go and tackle the bathroom. I've decided I'm not allowed a G&T until it's done....

Dusty the parking was ok, however I was right we only had minutes to spare, it was busy but someone pulled out just at the right time!

soappie, great news, week before half term here. Go on woman get yourself away and have a proper break, you know you deserve it.

Pigpen I considered myself savvy until I read about your barains. Great news with DD5s nursery, it's nice when they do things like that (of course not great about 4s bugs but can't have everything) You could ask for an OT referal for her which could help with the movement things, or see if the school have OT stuff running. Balancing stuff might be recommended, part of the floppyness I wonder is that the same as your others with the hypermobility? That can sometime come across as clumsiness.

With the exam, if I got everything right I answered I MIGHT pass, yes it's that bad. Hey ho putting it behind me now and looking forward to doing something I am actually interested in, plus the 3 months off! DPs gone over to his brothers with him to take the car, I am pleased as he got his 'I want to sort the house out now' head on as I've offered for him to use the conservatory for his crosstrainer and started having a screaming fit when noone else helped. I lost it with him pointing out he now knows how I feel. He's had a week of it actually, making remarks, like today when I took him to the shop with me 'I'm shocked how much chicken is' welcome to my world honey. Well anyway I'm preparing some food for a BBQ, it's dry, but cold, thought I may aswell as got BBQ stuff in to use.

Suppose I best go finishing preparing, go some chicken soaking in Jack Daniels marinade which I love. Oh and DS2s out playing with other kids, I know I'm in shock too! They seem nice and have promised to look after him but I still feel a little anxious. DS1 went aswell, for all of 4 minutes :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all. Just moving my list up a bit.

Well I got me trainers. I needed a decent pair for walking the dog. I walk at rather a brisk pace with her round the park. As it's all uneven surfaces and my trainers were rubbish I needed something with a bit more cushioning and support. They are very pretty. Orange:eek: and white:rolleyes: but they'll do the job.

While we were there DH found a bargain pair reduced from £45 to a fiver. It was only when I tried them on that we realised that they were two completley odd trainers made to make a pair. Good job i noticed cos I was gonna buy em:eek::rotfl:

lil sorry your exam didn't go as well as you hoped, but hopeing you pass, how long before you get the results.

It seems there are 2000 less online / site so it is now running a bit faster for me. It means I can read / post/ thank more often!!

Dinner cooked / eaten and washed up.

Been out and tidied up the green house, I know it is not on the list, but is was a lovely sunny evening.

I have also test my fire alarms tonight and all works well, so get testing ladies, go and poke it, I use the brush handle, to save getting the steps out and falling of them!!

    Evening all,

Tea made & eaten needed to use a jar as DD1 needs a jar for the harvest service at school tomorrow (she should have been putting in a coin for every meal she has eaten since going back to school she did ask for a jar but as I rarely use these days I forgot all about it until she came home this evening)

i managed an hour of studying managed to confuse myself but think i have found the right solution in the end going to do a bit more once kids in bed just to see if i have understood things okay.

i have cleaned the cloakroom toilet and will do the bathroom after the grls have their baths everything else can be carried forward until tomorrow.

lil_me glad you have made the decision about your studies I am doing the open degree with OU just started but I want to top up an HNC which I have and this seems the easiest way.

densief - watched neightbours think I may join you at lunchtime tomorrow what time is it on????

Going to put DD2 in the bath tidy up the kitchen and get the bags ready for tomorrow.

Bathroom done so I have a G&T in my hand - cheers! :D

I've changed the bath mats and the shower curtain, scrubbed the bath and sink, deep cleaned the loo and washed the floor. As soon as the floor is dry, clean bath mats will go down. Washing machine is on. I also swopped the pc area for the utility area which needed a much out. Guests have to enter that bit to get to the loo so it's clean - all ready for my meeting here tomorrow night. Hopefully it'll be shortish. But, at least I won't have to drive out anywhere and can have dinner cooking whilst it's on (stew I've decided - that'll keep).

Lil-me - you're right. I do need to get away. Off now to search the web. If I take just the dog and the laptop and my research, the dog and I could walk in the morning and write in the afternoon. I feel a plan coming on...
