  • Glad some of you could join me...

LilySue and Polka, sorry your littlies are not well, hope they feel better soon...

Right, got through quite a bit in my 40 mins...

Wiped down all sides and small appliances (scrubbed kettle)
cleaned inside and outside of kitchen windows (2 smallish ones plus door window)
    wiped down cooker and hob
wiped down cupboard fronts and appliances
wiped out inside of DW (the bits around the door seal that didn't get washed in the de-gunk)
cut up meat in fridge, divided up into portions and froze,
    wiped out inside of fridge

So not much more to do in there...

Have to re-do hall floor though as one of the dogs must have cut himself as have just spotted little patches of blood up and down everywhere - have checked and not bleeding now and no cuts, don't figure eh! they must have known I'd done it...

Right, I'm going to have a quick 15 min challenge till half past as I want to stop and have lunch then, and watch Neighbours... it's getting exciting - will toady punch Jay up in the air (probably not!)

Busy, busy today .... that box room is going to take longer than one day, but one step at a time and all that!

So, far I have 2 bin bags of rubbish, 1 huge pile of cardboard, and another bag of "paper" growing .... I'm finally lobbing my school notes (I mean do I really need my math's notes from when I was 11 (and I'm um, 37!))

The bathroom is now full of bedlinen, i.e. duvets and pillows. I'm not sure how many I have, but it's too many!

I've also got dinner bubbling in the SC ... lamb tagine, yum, yum
And I've been offered some apples, so once I've picked DD up from school, we're going "scrumping"!

Then I need to make some flapjacks or muffins, or biscuits or summat.

Right, I have another hour ... let's see what we can do ....

Phew...thank goodness for that! I thought I'd messed something up on my computer when I defragmented. :D
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
  • So in the last 20 mins I have finished the kitchen, just have to finish washing the floor...

I polished the table and chairs
polished the treadmill (not used it today, think I'm rushing around enough :) )
polished the freezer we still have to put in the garage and clean out to use
polished the rest of the stuff/surfaces in the dining room end
cleaned up the blood in the hall,
vacuumed the kitchen and hall (again)
    Turned on the WM again

So I am now going to take a well earned break and have a sarnie and watch Neighbours... anyone care to join me in a :coffee: ???

    :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: Hope I've made enough :D

Well I know I was gone much longer than a half hour but I got started and couldn't stop-except once to get DS cleaned up and cuddle him abit-he's really not keeping anything down poor thing.
But I got so much done in the kitchen and then realised I had cleaned according to the kitchen list on autopilot!!!
    Here's what I did:
    • Washed dishes
    • Wiped down counters, cupboard fronts, kickboards and small appliances
    • Cleaned inside micro and wiped inside of oven
    • Prepared drinks for DS for the rest of the day and tonight (including rehydrate coz its looking like he may need some)
    • Swept floor
    • Mopped floor
    • Wiped down outsides of bins
    • Took recycling overflow downstairs (We have had 4x6pint and 2x4 pint bottles of milk since Saturday-and there's only three of us)
    • ETA: Wiped down dining table and chairs

Think I'll have a cuppa then get supper on and get cracking on the LR after-I don't want to have anything to do tomorrow evening when DF gets home.
