It seems T-Mobile won't be stocking the N85, as it's too similar to the N96 and they've gone with that. No official confirmation, but I've heard this from a couple of T-Mobile sources
I wonder if any other networks may do the same and if they might take it up if demand for the N85 outstrips that of the N96.0 -
Confirmed Operators are Vodafone (UK) , Three. O2 have dropped out due to them putting all their cash into the iPhone. They're not taking up any new N Series Nokias. 96 '85 or the 79, and stopped stocking the '82 as well.
T-Mobile are not stocking the phone at the moment.
Orange WILL be stocking the phone, although it's expected to be with them in December, if not New Year.
Keep your eye on Vodafone and Three, as they'll have it first.
Expect to get it for free on £35 18 month contracts, or £40/£45 on 12 month contracts.
The phone is around £350 Sim Free. Although, this won't really be available to buy from networks till the new year. Only independent stockists.0 -

Looks like the N85 is now available on Vodafone and Orange
Vodafone - FREE on £35/month+ through Nokia/Mobilephonesdirect
Orange - FREE on £35/month+ through Dialaphone/MobileExpress
For Orange there are various cashback/discount deals to bring the TCO to <£500 for both 12 and 18 months through the above stores.0 -
I would assume O2 will release it soon as well. There was a lot of talk that they wouldnt release the N96 but low and behold it is now on their website!0

Phones4U now have the N85 in store.
It's available on Orange, Vodafone and O2.
I didn't go into too much detail, but the SA was saying it was free on £40 tariffs.
The Phones4U website shows it free on Orange Dolphin £35 with a £52.50 redemption deal making the TCO £577.50.0 -
Do you know if the Phones4U deal is online only or available in-store also?
Cheers

The last time I spoke to a P4u salesperson they said they don't match the online deals in-store. However that was some months ago and things may be different now.0
