arunm wrote:I'd like to nominate Browntoa for his help unlocking a phone. I couldnt find a free unlocking service for the model I had anywhere. The reason he should be nominated is:-
1) He did this via private message - i.e. Sought no credit for the help he gave
2) He replied almost instantly
3) Most importantly, I finally subscribed to these forums specifically as a result of his help.
Its always nice to see users appreciate the work our unlockers do on the Telephones boards. In fact Browntoa and drahcir won the post of the month award back in June but I am am sure they will be pleased to see their work recognised on here again.0 -

Many people were involved in the Play voucher "saga", I've listed the main contributors HERE. I wish I could vote for all of them but there's only one prize
Thanks jgjet, you're a star!
I agree, a vote for jgjet.... :santa2: :xmassign: :xmastree:Grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"0 -
I vote for charlie12 and his Dell 19" tft monitor thread which although it was technically in November, didn't come to fruition until December.
The initial threads by charlie12 got deleted due to some abusive posters but a follow up thread is here
Good on yer, charlie12, that one was a real moneysaver :dance:0 -
I vote for newbie member elmo76 for starting this thread.
At the time of writing elmo has been thanked 19 times in 1 post.
Apart from the thread being a brilliant money saver (Tigger reduced from £19.99 to £4.90), it has also been quite amusing to read about the older children (aged 29+):D who have been excited about buying a Tigger for themselves.
Well done elmo76 for your Tiggerific thread.:snow_grin
Editing was delayed due to the boards going doolalley.:rolleyes:10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -

I would like to nominate Trinnylilac for supporting me with returning my item and getting a refund from Music Cabin. This person is amazing and Sooooooo helpful, they probably do not realise how much they have helped. I was so worried that I wouldn't get my money back or that they may say they had never received the item from me. I feel this is the least I can do to thank them. If ever there was a person worthy of winning a prize this would be the one!!!!!!
Thankyou very very much.
Rachel
Please please let them win the prize they really deserve it.
