Another Tesco Massive Price Increase

I get the feeling that people are gradually turning away from Tesco, who are bumping their prices and promoting cr*p [non]-deals [they really treat us like idiots] Sainbury's seems to be generating more loyalty. Personally I usually go to Asda as it appears the cheapest and it's closest.0

I don't really have much of a choice, either Sainsburys (which is in the local town 2 miles away, not a very large shop & parking always a nightmare!) or Tesco, just up the road (1mile) with no parking problems. Morrisons is over 9 miles away and Asda is about 15 miles away (which I would prefer and do make trips sometimes to stock up). The large Sainsburys is also about 15 miles away so we do a stock up trip every couple of months (and for a 'change'!).
I'm trying to shop online now for Mr.T's delivery so I can see exactly what I'm spending bit by bit. Might try Sainsburys next week.
I don't mind Tesco products and there are some things I always buy but if I had a choice....I'd pick ASDA.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
Tesco Cava now up to 4.24 from 4.04 not long ago and 3.79 before Xmas.
I only go to Tesco's as they take Money Off Coupons. I went in on Thursday, Friday , Saturday and Sunday and got £35 off my shopping - I usually save 40 - 90% of the bill. Probably very sad, but I feel like I'm getting a bargain so I'll carry on.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

We dont use tesco much now as we were keen clubcard point collectors but they never have bonus points on mailings now like they used to,you only get money off now like 10p off a certain product, prefer morrisons now a days.0 -

Some of us don't have much of a choice when the local supermarkets are a Tesco and a Co-op - can't really go anywhere else as we're on an island and the mainland is a 3 hour ferry ride away.
Tesco's Fruit and Fibre has gone up from 88p for a 500g box to £1.27..... what's that about?0 -

Its only 40% (roughly) how dare you complain, the company didnt have such a great christmas and need to make more profit at your expense.
Thats why there are no till spits with points, vouchers with points, no decent offers, basically nothing for you.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Has anybody suspected yet that it's the weak £ behind many of Tesco's (and other retailers') price hikes? These evil Continentals just keep insisting on being paid in Euros. Bloody nerve!

Of course thats the reason, they cant blame it on oil going up anymore.
Cant see it though. I thought Tesco bullied suppliers.0
