            Hi!
Back again. \thank you all so much for posting i will read everything and make good notes of your suggestions.
Those debts are mine not hubbys - but before you all unite and say "he should pay etc etc" he has approx the same amount of debt himself. We are in the unfortunate position of him being self employed and as it is a relatively new venture things are tigher than normal. He also buried his head in the sand I will be honest but has had his lightbulb momet. I now controll all teh spending. However, his business will take off really well within the next 4 months and he is going to contact payplan as they may be able to help. CCCS couldnt because of the self employed part.
I feel as though I have ridden a rollercoaster of emotion and my spelling is usually much better than this!!!
 shall I keep you informed?
thanks againIf you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Those 4 are the high interest ones - the amount you are paying per year to borrow is high, and if you can do just a bit of overtime in your 2nd job, even £10 a week would really help get the amount down on the highest-interest debts.
Do you have stuff you could put on ebay / amazon to knock a few lumps off?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

            Hi 1step
You say you are meeting the minimum each month - have you checked your credit file to see if there is anything on there that may stop you getting credit? (late payments, defaults, CCJ's) You can check your credit file free at experian (if you cancel within 30 days) - Make sure the address is correct and that you are listed on the electoral roll. You can have about 3 credit checks in a 6 month period before your credit score is affected.
Could it be possible for you to get a 0% Virgin Money credit card?
This card will not only allow you to reduce the interest to 0% for 15 months but fromm the 2nd-15th month, the minimum payment will be £25 so you can put more money towards the other debts. You may even be able to clear one of your existing cards and be offerred an incentive to keep it open.
Just make sure that any payments to 0% cards are on time or you could lose the promotional rate and don't spend on the card. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

            Hi!
and what a crazy Monday it was too.
Thank you for your suggestions I will look into the ebaying and after a very long talk with hubby he is going through Pay plan dmp but we will do it together. so lots of calculations and stuff to do later.
His credit rating is rubbish which is probably why mins is too hence the refusal of 0% etc.
A huge weight has been lifted and once his business takes off properly we should be able to overpay on the DMP when it is set up.
Further news - I am doing some washing and ironing for a family member who will pay me so that means more money each week - no more toast lol!
I actually sang along to the radio yesterday whilst ironing, first time in months! still as bad as ever but happier!
 take care
