xbox 360 @ Asda [CLOSED]

I read on another forum that I visit that one guy had spoken to the store manager at an Asda branch and all staff have been told that they cannot reserve the consoles.Only those staff off duty can queue alongside the millions so I would imagine this rule to be true for Tesco et al...
I was thinking of going to a local Asda tonight around 9pm tonight and queueing but I'm really starting to have second thoughts now

I'm considering going to Asda tonight but I won't be queueing, I'll just go at 11:30 and if a load of people are there, sack it off and come home. I'll admit, I'll probably put it on eBay if I bought one. I don't see how its wrong. MS should ensure theres enough stock to go round, not my fault. And if I don't sell it, plenty of other people will be.

I don't usually do this, in fact I can't remember going buying something with the main intention of selling it, but I shall make an exception. If I bother going, that is. I do need to decide what I want for Xmas but 360 is too overpriced to keep.

I spoke to my local Tesco and they said they will be on sale from 8am on 2/12/05 and they only have 8 available. I then rang another Tesco and they said they dont know if they are getting any, (think he was lying)?

I popped into my local Asda that wasn't on the list. I was told they were not stocking it and have no plans to despite being a relatively large 24 hour store.

hi i work at the 4646 store and they got 8 in and about 500 people phoned to see if we had got any.
Many people have been queing all afternoon to try and get one

Are the stores listed just the Walmart Superstores?, they get all the "bargains" sadly.

Probably better checking ebay in the morning cos the price will bottom out when 20,000 XBox360's get listed. lol
