From the figures I've heard your very unlikely to get an XBox 360 even if you pre ordered one. They have only 300,000 ready for the whole of Europe.
The moneysaving tip is never to buy games consoles on release. Besides saving money as the price comes down you get to avoid the usual batch of faulty consoles which always appear. And you also get to choose some decent games rather than be stuck with some of the launch line up.0 -
I'd hazard a guess that a lot of the initial UK release will end up on eBay. At the moment it's madness there! Loads of obviously fake auctions with loads of obviously genuine, trusting bids.
Manufacturers enjoy whipping up a pre-Christmas frenzy fuelled by those who (or whose children) just HAVE to have the latest thing :rolleyes:Can I help?0 -
Hi,
I just called the trafford park branch - manchester and the woman laughed saying they expect a q round the block as they are selling 12.01am - she went on to say that they have had 00,s calls all week.Tell it as it should be....0 -
Tonight, official release date is Friday 2nd December.bleugh wrote:i.e. do I queue tonight, or tomorrow night
Good luck, to all who are trying to find an Xbox 360. The £210 "core" console should be easier to get a hold of despite being £70 less than the premium version. It isn't highly regarded by "hardcore gamers" who call it the "'tard pack" for not including a Hard Drive, wireless controller, Headset or Ethernet cable."The state is the great fiction by which everybody seeks to live at the expense of everybody else." -- Frederic Bastiat, 1848.0 -
For Bristol try Longwell Green or Patchway!

All of which can be easily added afterwards making it identical to the premium version. Believe me, for the first few weeks at least, the Core pack will be very very marketable.
To the person who said moneysavers should never buy gaming consoles when they first come out well this must be an exception as was the PSP. It may not be money saving per se, but buying either of these on release day will earn you a very sizable profit should you want to sell it.0
