Merry Christmas!
Totally agree, I have been there - my child wanted a Barbie Pegasus Groom this xmas. Nobody had it in stock, but ebay has it for over 60 quid!!!!!!
I got one from Argos in the end (ordered) and had the opportunity to buy three more to make money - but thought about what I had been through and didn't..........0 -
It will cost much more than the difference to upgrade the core model, afaik the hard drive that sits on the top is £69.99 alone.
Are the stores listed just the Walmart Superstores?, they get all the "bargains" sadly.ac's lovechild0 -
Sorry, its just I've been trying to get a single one of these for my autistic little brother, and it seems like I may as well not even waste my time because of all the scrooges after a bit of quick cash.
Winds me up when people just go on about buying them purely to sell them on for profit, becaust it is me, and others like me, who you are ripping off.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

Wait if you can, and choose something else your brother will enjoy, surely it is not a matter of life or death?
Next year they will be around £100 cheaper, it is not just the ebayers who milk the situation for what they can. Supply is deliberately limited by makers to get the publicityand hype. ( and games are £50ish each.)ac's lovechild0 -

Dont forget even the high street retailers are ripping people off too - some are charging £699 for a 'core' based pack with extra games....0 -
me and 2 friends drove around all night to get san andreas for ps2 on release date at midnight.. turns out its useless at Tesco/Asdas because they dont have entertainment staff at the wee hours, we were told 8am is the earliest in many stores. Luckily in Pitsea they had put the game out 1 day early and we got 2 copies between us. My suggestion is dont hold your breath, my mother works at Tescos and ive asked her to try and get me an Xbox 360 and she says the staff have already bought them all!0
