For crying out loud. I am trying to get myself organised with arreas and debts! I have entered a DMP I pay £80 per month.
Some thing always crops up. I dont seem to ever have enough money to pay every one Just as I start to see the light some thing else comes up.
I can not get my self out of this mess
This time Quick Quid have taken full payment and I now cant pay my rent or my dpm or petrol for work I just dont know what to do.
My council tax is comming straight out my wages. I have to pay gas 100 pound each month or they will fit a meter ( i cant have a metter fitted as this will be against renting contract) I pay 91.50 for electric for the same reasons I owe famil money door step collectors money. I think my b/f is just about to leave me.
I really cant take any more!!!!

ok, take a deep breathe & get a cup of tea, everyone (bar trolls) on here is going to be able to help.
Was quick quid on direct debit? if yes you can go to your bank and under the DD guarantee get them to reverse the payment.
that'll get that cash back for you. and tell the bank that the DD is cancelled, i know it can be re-presented but at least you can get them to claw it back.
more people will be along soon to offer more advice. try not to worryNonny mouse and Proud!!

i think you should call National Debt Helpline (0808 808 4000) for advise, i spoke to a very nice guy there, he was calm and reassuring.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

Hang in there. You have been tackling this and that's a really huge thing you have already achieved so be proud of that achievement. Someone who knows will come and suggest what you might do. I have no idea how you do this but I know that people do. I don't know if you can demand the repayment of the excess from quick quid. Just hang in there. No longer half of Optimisticpair

Hi Em, life is crap sometimes isn't it?, I know how you feel hun as this month I have had a £300 electric bill to pay, plus my boiler needs repairing (another £70 and its only 2 years old!) and it all just gets too much.
Have you posted an SOA yet to see if we can help you make savings anywhere?, the next step from that is to 'try' to put some money aside each month for emergencies such as this, easier said than done I know.Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
Every one is always on my case for money.
Quick quid was by card and the bank say ther is nothing I can do.
My dad lent me £2000 I didnt know he got a loan out for me I need to pay that back. I was meant to buy 3 laptops for friendds but the money they put into my bank was "swollowed" up by being over drawn (without agreement). I am in so much trouble!!!
I have posted a SOA and although thats great for some thing to work on. What is going to get me out of this trouble. My dad and friends will go so mad!:hello: 2006 = over £150002009 = £6000Target2011 = £0:j0 -
are Quid Quick on you DMP? I think (and someone willl correct me if i'm wrong i hope!) that from reading some of the other threads, if Quid Quick are on your DMP and then they take extra payment from you, then that is wrong.
Hope someone can confirm this or not!Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

How did QuickQuid take the money?? Is it a continuous authority you set up with them? You would have agreed this with them at the start and will need to write (recorded del) to tell them un-agree it.
However,
Ive heard of some of these companies- if you make a one off debit card payment- holding onto the details and taking further payments later. Im a bit shaky on this but I think if they have done this, it is illegal (tantamount to theft even) and they should refund it.0 -
Em, if Quick Quid is on your DMP, how come the bank are saying that the payment to them as been made by card?, surely it should be by DD?, you need to clear this up with your bank and in the meantime if QQ have your card details, it may be worth changing your bank card so that this doesn't happen again next month.
Regarding the laptops, why were you buying 3 laptops for your friends?, please explain a bit more about this, if the £2000 your dad has given you has been swallowed up by your bank fees then I think you will need to come clean with him and let him know, does this mean though that you are now within your overdraft limit?Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
Can you post the SOA you did for your DMP?
Something is not right here. Your DMP should only take the surplus you have after your necessary bills. I can see that Quick Quid have m[STRIKE]f[/STRIKE]ucked up, but it sounds like your SOA might not be working
