You people inspire me! Here's mine from today:

Today (Sun) Broccoli and cheese pasta bake
Mon Veg sausages, baked potatoes, baked beans, kale
Tue Pasta with tomato and lentil sauce
Wed Mix veg (whatever in the fridge) stockpot/curry with rice
Thur Mushroom omelette, peas, carrots, sweetcorn.

I don't normally do puddings but always have fresh apples in a bowl, nuts and dried fruits, yoghurt (soya and regular) available. If I find some nice reduced cake in the shops I might buy it, but not planned.

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Love this thread, I get loads of inspiration from it! Here is my first ever mealplan:

sun- lemon pepper sole goujons, potato [strike]croquettes[/strike] wedges & peas
mon- garlic chicken, noodles & stir-fried veg
    tues- leftovers from monday
wed- salmon fishcake, baked potato & salad
thurs- pasta with veggie tomato sauce
fri- egg, bacon, mushrooms, beans & toast
    sat- pizza

Breakfast is cereal or toast. Lunches are usually a cheese or tuna sandwich.
  • Right, here I go, this will be up to Friday as my shopping week starts then, so will decide on following week again then:

Sunday: Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Yorkies and veg
Monday: Cottage Pie (using any left over veg from Sunday if any)
    Tuesday: Sausage, Mash & Beans
Wednesday: Pizza and garlic bread (from freezer)
Thursday: Chicken and something - maybe a stirfry (will have to see what we fancy then, but need to use some chicken breasts up - have 12 in the freezer!)
Friday: Egg, Chips, & Beans (our favorite, better than chippie :D )

Friday: Egg, Chips, & Beans (our favorite, better than chippie :D )

There has already been a change, so I am going to take the days away and see how I go (sometimes we have to adapt to easy stuff coz of time constraints) so it is now:

Sunday: [strike]Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Yorkies and veg[/strike]
Monday: [strike]Pizza and garlic bread [/strike]
Sausage, Mash & [strike]Beans[/strike] roasted veg
Cottage Pie (using any left over veg from Sunday if any - none left :D )
Chicken and something - maybe a stirfry
Egg, Chips, & Beans (our favorite, better than chippie :D )[/quote]

Oooh, quite looking forward to tonights dinner now. I love sausage & mash when it's horrible out - thanks for the thread you guys, I would have been thinking what to have for ages, checking through everything, then thinking I can't be asked, etc... It's good to have a plan...:T
