There's no such thing as a stupid question

Mobile phone insurance covers theft of the handset/fraudulent calls/accidental damage etc

Yes im well aware of that,i did work in the mobile industry, but the OP is on a SIM ONLY deal, as to which im not aware of any insurance is offered on it, so the whole thing about insurance for him is pointless, unless you can point him in the direction of a policy that can cover a sim only deal i.e only the unauthorised calls part

Insurance isn't offered on a SIMO, when a call is put through to the insurance company the advisor has to state that the contract sim is in the contract phone at the time of theft/damage/loss, as there is no contract phone, this can't be done.

Thanks all for all the replie, didnt mean to start an argument ;o)

Im not a fan of insurance having had genuine claims rejected in the past ( apparently I didnt take reasonable care but thats another story).

Trish, thats a good idea and something I usually do but last weekend when I lost my phone it all started when we had ONE on the way home, one let to two and before you knew it it was 10pm and I was as drunk as a judge on the bus on the way home. Got off the bus minus phone.

    Cheers all
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.
