thanks for all the replies. apparently this teacher is very laid back but he scares me a bit:rotfl: He seems a very old school teacher and is the deputy head!

    Ouch! your poor poor DS1!!!

As others have asked what is a pot of gold. Love the pictures above, I might do something like this for OH from me, we have an ongoing joke about the lottery and being in it to win it ... every week we win the lottery they wake up, so I could do something like this :)

Here is a little pot of gold
    A festive nibble too

  • Last year I made these with my 2 for the teachers at school, they all loved them even the male support worker:

I just changed the Kissmas back to Cristmas.

Hi these are a really good idea - thanks. Daft question but how did you manage to change the label to Christmas from Kissmas or did you just make your own labels?

    Thanks

Thats one for OH and I plan to get all of the bits this weekend. Can I ask how many scratch cards you put in yours? I am thinking of putting in a lottery ticket but probably can't do it til nearer christmas if I did that? although I could always buy one neared christmas and put it in an envelope and then use that as a tag?

The pot of gold idea is brilliant - its my Dads birthday on the 8th and he is struggling financially at the moment after his recent divorce from my Mum so I think this would be lovely to do for him. I will even put cash in it. Thanks for the idea x:T
