If you open up the letters you think are junk. you will be able to tell if it is survey based or not. You know what is inside survey mail so you can tell instantly if it is junk or not.

Yes, if you are on the "reserve list". I waited 6 months (had forgotten) and
agreed to take part. Depends on your postcode.

I cant remember what i chose to be my test initials, does it matter?

Nearest one within my post code area is now about 7 mile round trip out of my way. However I have found out that there is going to be a "Post Office" service in my local Village Hall 3 days a week - anyone know if this would be classed as a Post Office or not??? TIA...

Just in case anyone else wondered the answer to this - I emailed them and they've said I can post at any post box if I can't get to the post office, but do not post at an outreach service as they can't record this...

The code I used was WBROMP01, but others have said that they have chosen any.

And Grannysmither, it'll only matter if you can't recognise 'test items'.
It's not a terrible worry if you forget

As soon as you get mail with initials you don't recognise, you will remember that that is your survey mail. :beer:
