My husband has only been doing this a week too and then got kicked off the panel today but the email said he would be placed on the 'reserves' list. Funny though as I have been on the reserve list for over 6 months and havent heard anything

  • Phew that's a relief. I thought I must have messed up. Two weeks into the training period I've been dumped too. What I can't figure out is how they didn't know there were too many panellists in my postcode area before they accepted me in the first place. Apparently I'm now also on the 'reserve' list. Not sure that I want to be messed around like this. Perhaps it's better just to buy my stamps.

Thats exactly what I thought! I was really disappointed as I wanted to do this too! don't think i messed up tho! I asked them not to bother putting me on reserve list!

Yesterday I received one of my survey letters to record and return as usual. However it was wrapped in a second envelope with an enclosure from Royal Mail saying that they were undertaking a survey of their own and to fill in a questionnaire relating to that particular letter! Obviously they couldn't know what was in it and I completed and returned their questionnaire with a slight feeling of 'you couldn't make it up'!!

Has anyone else had one of these?

I received a phonecall from royal mail asking me how it was going!
I just said it was all fine but I am going to email to let them know I don't want to continue taking part. I didn't realise I would have to post quite so many letters!
I don't even pass a postbox on my way to and from work so have to take a little detour.

I was a member for 9 months and found it fairly easy cos there is a post box at the end of my road. I was then told that they no longer needed me in the area that I live.
About a month after that they phoned me and asked me to do the misdelivery postal survey and I got £6 of vouchers.
So even if they dont want you to post envelopes, £6 vouchers is easy money! Prefer doing this than the actual posting of letters - far easier :)

If you have been "dumped" recently, then they may still contact you.
    mortgage £800 overpayment 2022. £600/£2400 2023 🙂 savings £1853/£1800 😊

It can be tough if your not near post boxes.
I've just got the most stuff ever to post. 6 letters next week and two on one day at different places.
Took me 20 mins just to write envelopes, put in R numbers etc.
I don't mind when its just a couple of letters but 6 is a bit much:confused:
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
