It is to get her into one of the best schools in the area and country,.. its an all girls school i went there my sister went there you get the picture.... Anyway just had a text from a friend saying the post has been and results are out.... now she lives in the town the school is and they got their results yesterday... im trying to concentrate working from home this morning listening out for the postman ready to rape him of his goods..

See kids can bring you this much stress even when they havent done anything wrong!!!

Thank you so much sweetie,, nice of you to pop in.

I still cant get over today really. we both stood there and cried in the playground.. What i also found out was not only did she pass but she was the only child in the year to have passed. A little daunting for her but fantastic news all the same!

Ended up having a chinese tonight i treated whole family to a buffet style which was £50....

Went to Dunelm as well and got some fantastic muslin for my curtains.. sadly this didnt come cheap for what i really wanted and ended up costing £36

And then onto farm foods to start stockings up........£45... but as ive stated before i am starting with mother hubbard scenario here.

Oh and van tomorrow is £70 quid

So all in all today has been a ruddy expensive one but i had done loads of overtime last month and im constantly working hard as as stated before my debts dont leave me sleepless so just this once im not going to chew myself up over it all. It was all necessary to have paid out and after the news i had today i just dont care!

    xx

    Hey Smamfer,

Congratulations - both on your daughter passing her 11+ and on your progress so far!

One query/word to the wise about the bed - have you checked the T&Cs of the interest free offer? I only mention it because some friends of mine had a similar deal on a sofa a few years back, and when their payment in full arrived a litte late they got stung with interest for the whole lending period from the beginning, not just for the few days difference! And that ran to three figures... So you may want to double check that and maybe pay it off a little early to be sure :)

**Slaps my own wrist for not being here*

Hi all.. sat 25th october wow this year has just flown by or is it me getting older and this is something over 30's say? lol

Anyway whats been happening. well work work work mainly. I got moved ok.. as you may have read my daughter passed her 11+ and i also found out shes only one from her school to pass. Got car done all in all i have done the necessary things and not really done any silly spending. Even went to Asda yesterday and only got what was on my list.... still came to £34 quid though and had nothing but there you go thats shopping these days!

Not done any extras on my debts at moment as just been too busy running here there and everywhere. I am not going to look at o/b though and see about making a couple of payments today albeit small ones then ill update my siggy after payday on monday.

Ohhhh forgot to mention.. got a job interview on tuesday. Its for a residential support worker basically in a childrens home who have everything from being abused to learning difficulties. Its something i have always dreamed about doing. I applied for it a few months ago and heard nothing,,,, then on friday when i was moving house i got the letter saying i had been short listed for an interview! I have to take my birth cert with me.. which sods law i couldnt find. This then cost me £26 quid  as i wanted it back within 5 days.... had i have been able to wait 15 days it would have cost me £12 .... i hate these diff kind of admin charges!!!
Anyway the job is about 2k less a year than what im earning now but there is more chance of overtime plus as its always been what i have wanted to do..... nothing would stop me doing it...

Right thats my daily ramble.... hope your all having a good wknd... ive got an inbox of surveys no doubt ill get through half of them and they will tell me im not suitable lol.. sods law! Then off to do some clicks and check any decent cashbacks xxxx
