Mobile phone............................ 60
Is it possible to switch to PAYG or a lower tarrif?
Entertainment........................... 180
If you're not ready to stop - have you cut down?
Must admit, you seem to have everything pretty well organised. I'd suggest making a "projected SOA" so you can see what your costs may be in 6 months - without car payments, only 1 phone, hopefully without the Cap1 card and accounting for all the bills you may have if you are renting your own place.
The Cap1 interest is way too high. This should be the first debt you clear.
Are you on the electoral roll at that address? If not, you may not be able to get more credit (this impacts your credit score) but if you can clear a card, you are sometimes offerred incentives to keep your card open. After you receive a nil balance statement from Cap1, contact them and ask what the APR is and if there are any balance transfer deals on at the moment. If they say there aren't any, try again in about a months time. If there are you may be offerred 0% for 6 months or a low interest life of balance offer. You may then just ask for the card to be closed and be offerred a better deal when put through to card closures or customer retentions. Just say i was talking about balance transfers with your colleague and they suggested you may be able to offer something. These offers don't require a credit check so you won't need to worry about your credit score. Hopefully then you can repeat the process bt transferring the balance of another card and waiting for a nil balance statement.
The SOA says you have a surplus of about £180pm. Is this right? If not, i suggest keeping a spending diary so you can see where the money is going. This will help you to budget and possibly cut back on any unnecessary spending.
I'd suggest taking a look at the snowball calculatoras well so you can see how much you will have paid off, the cheapest way of paying off the debts and when your debt free date may be.
https://www.whatsthecost.com/snowball.aspxAfter falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0

You're not rich, but in 6 months time you will be better off than you are now. The Cap 1 is so nearly gone... once that has disappeared ( and I would throw every spare penny I could at it!) You'll automatically have £20 extra to thow at something else.
Why not try ebay/ car boot/ quidco to get some quick cash, as a few of those cards aren't actually too high, and could be gone pretty soon if you really got your teeth stuck into them.
Welcome anyway!0 -

Awww thanks saucy nice to see someones seeing my plight lol.. She has taken her exams just waiting for results now..
I do xmas shopping on xmas eve... me and my family do a £10 pound xmas meaning we are only allowed to spend exactly 10 on each other.. This we find makes it fun and keeps it cheap and yet more thought goes into it when you only have an exact amount to spend..
Psst i not winning on bingo lol2025 Wins ::
