Ditto, to everything Hopeful has said. I'm so sorry things haven't worked out. Can nobody help you with childcare so you keep the job? Fingers crossed it works out for you.

    I quit today!

I woke up got ready got to the door and just broke down i just couldn't do it, I feel awful in a way because i know we need the money but i really would rather work in a factory or delivering leaflets rather than have that pressure on me and making me feel how i did,

I have to say BF was wonderful about it and even took my keys and folders in along with a letter to the manager and a letter of resignation. I have just seen they have put the advert on the jobcentre plus website stating a " fantastic training structure":rotfl:

what a joke. im pleased im out of it and started job hunting already to just take anything i can but with a bit more thought going into it regarding the company and the hours that will be expected. As much as i feel guilty for walking out of a job so quickly i was told i would not work after 8pm... which i was doing,,, i wuoldnt do more than 12 hour shifts.... i was doing 15/16 hour shifts.. and my 2 days off would be together... they weren't so i feel as if i was lied to just to get me in. I also found out while i was there that the women who was there before me had only lasted 4 months before she quit as she didnt like the way the company did things. I can now see why... Pay day was due on the 30th im just hoping i still get paid to help me out a little bit... My contract should have gone back by the 22nd may along with my reference addresses and some info for a credit check, kind of shows how eager they were to get me in if they made me a keyholder without even confirming my address, who i was or anything about me!!! Am i still entitled to my pay? It states in contract that if i leave within 4 weeks i dont have to give notice but as they never got the contract back how do i stand?

Anyway luckily i never gave up my other job and once again it has proved its weight in gold, its hour booking tonight so ill cram as many in as possible. BF grandad looks like he is about to die any moment so thats adding some sadness to things.

I text the ex earlier about maintenance :rotfl:.. i know i know why did i waste a text... but anyway he nicely said " no i havent done it yet" ,,,, heaven forbid he should hand over a few quid without the csa saying so lol..

Anyway thats brought me up to date onwards and upwards yet again! xx

Lifes !!!! but nothing new there.

Found out more so spent the morning throwing bf's things over the garden. he wasnt too happy but there you go. He decided to do the real manly bits and take stuff from the house pc's televisions aerials ya know real needy things from someone desperatly wanting to sort things out!

Moneys tight and im now looking on council sites to see if i qualify for housing benefit as im a low earner.

Not sure how i stand as agreement is in both names and originally no benefits were allowed.
if anyone reading this can help me then id appreciate it xx

Try posting on the house renting etc board (Click for linkage!)

Hope things get better for you, may the nobs of all cheating men turn green and drop off. (A prayer I uttered often with my ex...)

    Blimey!!

I come back from holiday and find this. Can't believe it.
    So sorry for you Smamfer.
I'm offering a dodgy hug, but with the way you feel about men right now, it's from a respectable distance. :grouphug:
I really though you had landed on your feet there.

Did you have a joint account or anything?
Did he take anything that was yours or jointly paid for?
If he did, make sure he pays to get any of his stuff back.

No idea about the housing or benefits stuff, but you should definately post on the boards. No harm on posting on the DFW board about this stuff too as it is usually busier.

It sounds as though they were just wanting to get someone to look after the store while the manager went off on holiday so don't feel guilty about that. That's another question i'd add - where do you stand with regards your wages and when should you expect to receive them?

I've got no advice and have no words to offer for how bad i feel for you and DD. I know you're a strong woman. This thread has proven that already - i just hope you don't let their idiotic behaviour affect you too much.

    They don't deserve you!!

Take care and give DD a cuddle from us. You and her are the most important thing and need to take care of each other.
