BT's reverse charge cost's £3.50 connection plus a five minute block of call time at £1.
Making minimum charge £4.50 and they do not have to quote the price of the service to either the caller or the receiver.
I recently had to use BT's Reverse Charge Facility via 100. It was an automated option (Option 1 when you dial 100). I have just found out that the charge is £4.50 connection plus 45p per minute charged in 5 minute blocks. This works out at £6.75 for the minimum call. On top of this the chancelor adds £1.18 which brings the total cost to £7.97. At no point was I or the recipient informed of the charge. This cannot be right?0
